I arrived in this hotel for a period of one week. when I arrived at 12 o'clock they told me that it was impossible to make a checkin before 17pm! ok, you need to wait 5 ours, after this we go to the pool to enjoy the sun but we are asked where can we change us? They send you in a "bathroom" => in restroom insanitary!
At the beach nothing on the horizon, no beach chair or place to drink a cocktail or jet skiing. The staff at this hotel is really unbearable and do not encourage you to spend a good holiday!!
I recommend instead the Four Point By Sherraton on the Collins Ave

Dear Guest,

Please accept our most sincere apologies if we did not meet your expectations. Our check in time is not until 4pm; however, we try our best to accommodate our guest arriving early. . If the room is not ready we always invite our guest to use our cabanas at no cost for early arrivals (based on availability) and to use our facilities while they wait. We also offer storage for the luggage at no extra cost. We are considering alternatives to offer beach seating for our guests and it will be implemented this summer. Our restaurant serves refreshments at the beach area upon request. We will forward you comment to all our staff members to assure our service is up to standards and all our guest have a enjoyable time at the Casablanca. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us, feedback allows us to change and make our product better.

Sincerely,

Annet Rojas

Dear Guest

Our apologies if we failed to meet your expectations. We have pest control inspections and treatment every week and it is not the norm to see one of these bugs in rooms. Our hotel has been around since the 1950”s and we like to keep the structure as it was back in the day. Thank you for you comments, your feedback helps us to improve.

Simcerely,

Annet Rojas

we needed a place to go that would be warm and on the beach - we read all the reviews and decided we would see for ourselves.Well, we were pleasently surprized! Everything was clean - yes- the building was old but well kept, the beds were very comfortable-- you will have to go to Walgreens to buy a beach chair for a few bucks they don't have any. - but it is worth it.there are no chairs to rent. 7-11 is directly accross the street that is a plus there are resturants down the strret to walk to --Norman's for steaks and Fifi's for fish-- Cabana's are for rent around the pool w/ showers that is a plus for late flights home $25.- Well worth it! South beach is a $15 cab ride go to Lincoln Rd. It's been 49 years since I have been to the Casablanca and I will be going back soon. Front desk were very nice and helpful. For rest - sun-- pool and beach this is the place.

Room Tip: I think it was room 705 ocean front- nice room over looking the pool and ocean- with a full kitchen everything worked!!

Just stayed at the Casablanca Hotel in Miami Beach for 3 days and had a wonderful time there. This is the second time I've stayed there in 6 months and the location is perfect....not in the crazy crowded South Beach area, but the more subdued North Beach area. Easy bus ride to South Beach should you choose. Beach is beautiful, swimming pool is big and the lobby is very nice. But it's the staff that also make this a great place to be...they are so nice and helpful, you feel like you live there! The front desk staff, namely Tedd, Yiyi and Yuni are just amazing...friendly and very welcoming. There's a convenient 7-11 store right across the street for quick necessities and a Walgreen's just a couple blocks north. If there is one thing they need to work on, it's the Wi-Fi...although it "exists", the connection can be lost often enough and the speed is sometimes very slow. Maybe one day, they'll work on that and then I'll give it a 5 rating. (I do a lot of work on the internet and really depend on it). But all in all, a great hotel.

Is a well located hotel, but need to be updated, my room was a ´penthouse´ it was clean, bed was very old and need to be replaced as is broken in the middle, room 1022, pool was excellent but beware, they will try to charge towel for the pool, we been there for 5 nights and we have 4 rain days, and they try to charge towel for the 5 days even with rain, I think they will have to review that policy, Valet parking is good, but first night we have to left the car on public parking as the garage from the hotel was completed, Breakfast is good, we only take breakfast one time and the rest on the room, Staff from the hotel is very helpully.

Room Tip: Ocean side room were more quiet,
