I went to Havana 1957 on a recent trip to Miami for a bachelorette party and had a great time! We sat outside, which after just surviving a horrific northeast winter, was a welcome and warm change! Sitting outside was such a fun atmosphere to be in, there are a lot of people walking right through the outdoor area, but we were ok with it as the table was far enough to not to get bumped by someone passing by. It was a very noisy atmosphere but being a large group of girls, that is preferred, we could be as loud as we wanted and no one gave us a second glance.
Our waiter was extremely friendly and funny and gave great recommendations. I ended up ordering the Peach Mo (peach mojito) on his suggestion and loved it! All fresh ingredients and just the perfect amount of each!
For dinner, I ordered the Palomilla a la Plancha, which was grilled Cuban steak with onions, moro rice, and boiled yuca with a Cuban mojo. It was excellent! I wish I could have eaten the entire plate but alas I could not.
This was a very fun and delicious place for a bachelorette party! Dying for one of those mojitos right now!
