I made the mistake of booking this hotel. Superficially, it looked like a good hotel at a good price. When I arrived, I was told I had to pay a "resort fee" of $13/night. I booked through Beds on Line which is a site for Canadian Travel agents. No where did it mention a "resort fee". I was told that the agent should have told me about it. I am the agent! When I got home, I checked all the paperwork and read all the small print. No mention of "resort fee". On top of that, there is a notice that "due to the pandemic" there will only be maid service if you ask for it. Funny, no maid service is the only pandemic protecol in effect. This hotel is very old and they have done a very superficial update. The hallway is lumpy. They just laid a carpet over the damaged floor! The rooms are tiny and the air conditioning failed both nights I stayed there. When we were trying to check in, the clerk kept walking away from us to microwave food for people walking up to the desk. Don't book tours with them. The tours are the ones you can book on Expedia, they just add $20 to the price. Save the money and book it yourself. There are lots of hotels on Miami Beach. If you want to have an enjoyable vacation, pick a different hotel.
