Just a bit west of the South Beach area, we found a huge portion of food, one meat and two vegetables, for under $10. The styrofoam container was packed with enough food for two. We also enjoyed a coffee and a coke.

A small cafe that was very warm on an end of June day. The air conditioner struggles with all the people, cooking, hot buffet line, and open door, but it is South Beach in June, so not unexpected. You walk down the hot buffet behind the display case and they fill your serving container with a pile of your choice of rice, meat, and veggies. The ox tail was awesome.

A mix of tourists and locals provided a great spectrum of happy eaters. We would definitely eat here again. There were many foods to try.

We are glad you enjoyed the oxtail!! What can we do to improve this 4-star rating?

This is a great spot to pick up lunch to bring back to your hotel or to the beach. The cuban sandwich was very good but the chicken and beef empanadas are amazing. My mouth is watering just thinking about them right now.
Will definitely eat here again next time in Miami Beach.

Without question the best Cuban sandwich I have ever had. Staff was friendly and my meal was made in a timely fashion. Make sure you get some fried Plaintain's and the key lime pie then thank me

our friend in Miami recommended us this place, was little sceptical first though - not a fan of cuban food :P
How could i've been so wrong! place was amazing, the atmosphere was so Havana :D
cuban sandwich was really really great. and quite a bargain for $6.50. My husband even stopped by the next day to get one more :D
coffee sucked though :/ too strong and tasteless, so one point down.
Great experience anyway! ;)

On our vacation, my husband and I wanted to find the best Cuban Sandwich while in Miami. We found Las Olas after much internet research. We were not disappointed. I am only sad to say that we didn't go back a second day and try the other food. It looked amazing. We went for lunch and the worst part is the parking. It took us about 15 minutes to find a spot. But the ladies were extremely friendly behind the counter. This place is very casual but you cannot get better Cuban cuisine than here. We ordered four Cuban sandwiches and a Ham and Cheese Empanada. Both were delicious. We actually probably should have ordered only 3 of the sandwiches because they were so big. My boys could have shared it. When we visit Miami again, we will definitely be going back.
