Dined here with my daughter last night. Our server was phenomenal!!! Tim, thank you for making our dinner memorable. Your recommendations were top notch and I appreciate you pointing out that the service included the 18 percent gratuity. The downers were the 2 hostesses. Both well dressed, but lacking in courtesy, and highly distracted. To boot, the Asian hostess followed us to the washroom, came out of the stall and exited the washroom without washing her hands :(( yikes!!

“Horrible Food”
Reviewed July 31, 2014

We were so disappointed after reading many great reviews of Scarpetta, I thought I was dining in a different restaurant. The food was grossly oversalted, of 16 dishes we tried there were only a handful that were any good. Imagine an "Italian" restaurant that serves overcooked pasta, not even close to il dente, cut into pieces like you would serve a baby. Dishes overloaded with vinegar. Many things were inedible. Managers and servers were great, professional, although chaotically overstressed on a weeknight, but the kitchen was a disaster. There are many better dining options.

“Out of this world ....and that's the service”
Reviewed July 26, 2014 via mobile

We hate the Fontainbleau- FACT!! The clientele and the service is abysmal at best!

However the Scarpetta Italian Restsurant situated in the Sorrento Tower is a remarkable example of old world service. Each one of the staff members from check in; bar (Special thanks to Marie); the lovely Sommelier; the service personnel in the restaurant were excellent and only being toppled by the food.

The Duck & fois gras Ravioli had us drooling. The desserts specially the Pistachio Soufflé was amazing.

I cannot thank the staff enough for the sublime service and the quality of food with the 25% in house guest dining discount was highly appreciated.

Another $400 well spent.

Thank you Scarpetta for restoring our faith in service excellence!

“Fantastic dining experience”
Reviewed July 25, 2014 via mobile

Amazing food, excellent service, in a chic setting. If you can go when they have the miami spice menu, it is a great value. Their regular menu is a little pricey but worth every penny. The eggplant caponata that they serve with the bread is amazing! Short-ribs are to die for. Creamy polenta....mmmmmmm. Finish with a dessert because they are all great.
