Owner description: People watching is a great pastime in Miami's South Beach, which draws celebrities and beautiful people in skimpy swim attire to see and be seen. The wide and fine, white sand-covered beaches are popular spots for fashion photo shoots, so you're sure to see models. The area is known for its hip clubs and wild nightlife as well as numerous excellent restaurants.

“One if the best beaches in the world.”

South beach can be fun for all. Short for south Miami beach and also known for topless sun bathing. Don't let that chase you young families away just travel a few miles north to north Miami beach for a decent time. Great restaurants nice cars and some celebrities. Day or night this is the place to be.

“Nice Beach!”
Reviewed December 17, 2013

In our stay, we visited a couple of times, the beach was clean, there are places were you can rent chairs, and big umbrellas for the day. You can also purchase drinks at a different stands along the beach.

The beach it's huge! there is enough space for everybody, cars, and motorcycles.

restaurants across the boardwalk, so you will be set! restrooms close by also.

“where it is at in Miami”
Reviewed December 15, 2013

anywhere there is life in abundance is a great place to be. South Beach has become the heart and soul of the Miami area. The beach and the Art Deco are only the catalyst. It is the people that make this place special and it will be special as long as they remain.

“Too much noise and average food”
Reviewed December 15, 2013

South Beach is definitely for those looking for the "atmosphere" that is South Beach. Walking along Ocean Drive you are constantly being solicited by the restaurants to eat there. We tried a few and found the food to be average and slightly expensive. In the evening many have bands and performers come in to entertain. Most are average. After awhile the noise and average performers are bothersome and we crossed over to the beach side of Ocean Drive to avoid the hawkers and bad music. South Beach is overrated though will appeal to those in the 18 - 40 year old demographic. If you are over 40 and you think this scene is great...get a life.
