Located in Miami North Beach, two streets behind the front see. This change nothing and make the price lower.
Our room n1 was big and quite despite the windows were one the street. This avoid the noise of the bar nammed "Lous Beer Garden" which is located next to the pool in the small courtyard. Nice beers choice.
Possibility to park for free the car near the hotel; in the Walgreens Shop's park. Warning: give to the manager the model and plate of your car so she can inform the shop.

My wife, my 9 yrs'old boy and I spent one night only at this fabulous and small hotel, during a stop in Miami before our departure back to Italy. I've chosen this hotel following the advises on Tripadvisor. The hotel is small (10 rooms only), with all the comfs: air conditioning, coffee maker, safe box (big enough to host iPad or Computer), free local call and free WiFi, a very comfortable Queen Bed (for my son, the sofa bed the once opened, became a queen bed). Last but not least, extremely clean! There is also a bar near the pool, but we didn't have the possibility to try. The owner, Ann, is very very friendly and she took care of us, suggesting what to do or visit. She also suggest us to take the bicycles for a ride nearby.
The hotel is located on North Miami Beach, easily to find and to get there: Harding Ave. is parallel to Collins Ave.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to have breakfast at the hotel, but in a walking distance there are several places where to go (Ann suggested us the very best!). There is a lot of space to park the car (just beside the hotel). The area is quite safe, compared to Miami Downtown, and is 5-10 minutes driving to Lincoln Street, the heart of Miami Beach.
On behalf of my family, I would like to thank Ann and next time to Miami, I definitely will choose The New Hotel again!!!!

We stayed here for 1 night, while we were in the Miami area apartment hunting. We had wanted to stay in South Beach but on short notice it's pretty hard to find a place. I'm glad we didn't find a place; I doubt it would have been as good as this! It's 2 blocks from the beach, bike to take if you want, a nice little pool, and an excellent gastropub around the pool! From here there are good restoraunts (you should try Sazon the cuban place on collins), direct busroute to SoBe (you can even get there on bike, we did).

We really didn't want to leave after only a short visit; but now we are looking for an apartment in North Miami Beach instead of South Beach; it's a much more laid back feel. Even the bar had mostly local clientele visiting which tells you something. Great place, beautiful cool clean rooms, great service!

My wife and I spent this past weekend at The New Hotel and we can't recommend it highly enough. We got there on Friday afternoon just as a huge rainstorm erupted. The wonderfully friendly proprietor showed us to our room despite the rain, and got us extra towels to dry off in.

The room itself was beautiful. Large, and the bed was very comfortable. As others mentioned, there were fancy soaps and other bath stuff in the bathroom, which were really pleasant to use. Flat screen tv with tons of channels, and a small kitchenette with refrigerator and coffee maker.

There are only a few rooms in the building, and the hotel also doubles as a very happening outdoor bar. Really friendly staff and the drinks (and extensive beer menu) are fantastic. The food menu is also top notch. While the outdoor bar area is relatively loud at night, the sound is about 95% muffled in the room, and wasn't a problem for us at all when we went to sleep.

The hotel is about a half a block from a beautiful part of the beach, and we spent a long, lazy afternoon there. Really fabulous place. I highly recommend it.

We arrived to this hotel late at night-to find the path lit by a tiki torch. Walking through the gate, we were immediately charmed by a beautiful pool area surrounded by tables, chairs, funky couches and candles. There was a small bar which we ate at-with GREAT food and fantastic drinks. The music they played was just awesome. Apparently the bar is recognized in Miami and I see why...really cool atmosphere. We met the owner who was totally laidback and lovely -brought us up to our room which was simple but decorated very well. They recently renovated. Little touches like l'occitane products in the bathroom! I was initially concerned that a relatively loud bar-just below our room-would keep us up. However, once the door to the room was closed-literally like magic the noise from below is gone! Free phone calls, bike use....the owner seemed so genuinely kind and generous and laid back-loved it! We put our suits on and went for a great swim in the pool-complete with plastic drink cups for our cocktails. The next day we were told we could go ahead and use the bikes to toot around town. I know people say South Beach is where it is at but the incredible ambience, the super friendly and cool staff, and the great little rooms made this a trip favourite in my book. Bonus was free parking next door! Stayed in south beach for the next two nights and paid for absolutely everything-phone calls, parking 25 bucks a day.....totally touristy and trendy-would have been happy to stay here and swim, dine and drink in the coolest little spot in town. This place is in north beach and for what you get I would absolutely choose this over trendy south beach any day. Such a charming little place-I really hope they continue to do well as they have a fantastic little set up here.

Great location, beautiful rooms, and extremely nice manager. The hotel comprises a beer garden with a large selection of beers. In the neighborhood you can find a great venezuelan bakery (Moises) where you should try the "alfajores" and the "cachitos". If you want to refresh after a warm afternoon try Athens juice bar.

Stayed at The New Hotel with a friend Memorial Day weekend (actually, with the person that just posted the most recent review!). The staff could not have been any more helpful and were eager to offer suggestions on what to do in the area and great places to eat. While not directly in South Beach, we found the hotel's location excellent. The beach is a quick walk away from hotel, along with many restaurants, too. There is a Walgreens and a CVS almost immediately outside of the hotel which was very convenient. Definitely take advantage of the free bikes! It was a great and unconventional way to check out Miami and some of it's surrounding neighborhoods.

Would recommend this hotel to anyone (couples, friends, families, etc) looking for a clean, new, modern hotel in Miami.
