The staff at the Welcome Center are superb! Extremely efficient and friendly, very helpful and with all the informations you'll need to make your stay in Miami Beach a memorable one. Do not pass the extremely informative walking tour, a MUST while in Miami Beach. You'll learn about the history of the art deco district and the history of the Miami Beach historic district.

Keep up the good work!

The staff was super friendly! Two women working both helped me book a couple tours and told me some great local places to eat. I think their names were Pam and Constanza. Great ladies! Very helpful! Oh and the Art Deco Tour and Shop were fabulous too!

What a horrible experience, what should have been a very easy and fun filled experience for me and my family was ruined. We went in to the "Art Deco Welcome Center" looking for things to do with our family after the walking tour and the Spanish lady who attended us "Constance" i believe was her name was so Rude! and uneducated. She was too busy talking on the phone, and laughing it up with the computer in front of her to even give us any time or notice. When we did ask if she could help us she was so rude.

The Art Deco Welcome Center while beautiful and seemingly friendly was anything but...i suggest the owner of this establishment address this inconvenient situation immediately before they lose more of their already tarnished reputation.

We visited early in our stay and would have been prime candidates for enthusiastic staff to encourage and inform. The experience couldn't have been any further from that. The lass serving couldn't tear herself away from her iPhone & messaging for quite some time then complained that she couldn't have a drink of water as the fountain was empty etc etc. although we eventually managed to extract some information from her it was really hard work & we later found out that the info we did get was incomplete.
Possibly just a bad day, but seriously disappointing.

If you want a souvenir, a book, jewellery or a collectible that is Art Deco, then this is the place to come. The shop is full of wonderful items so there is bound to be something for anyone. I last visited the old cramped shop which was where the Welcome Center relocated during the rebuilding of these new premises, so it was nice to see everything laid out with space. Two years ago I took their Art Deco walking tour and it was a great way to learn about the buildings and the history of the area.
