Stayed at The Clay Hotel on the 27th April 2013. Newly renovated room was good. Previous occupant had vomited in the Room and it stank of Vomit. Used half a bottle of cologne and a tin of deodorant to no avail. The cleaner would have noticed this all day yet chose to put a guest in it ..... was awful. Cooking from downstairs choked the hotel rooms out, was like sleeping in a fast food kitchen. No towels in room had To go ask for towels. Renovations going on which I appreciate has to be done at sometime but..... At least warn guests and maybe offer a discount until finished.Noise from patrons downstairs means no Sleep till about 3:30 am never before that.
Bottom line ...... Would not recommend.... Sorry.
