“Still going strong”

Miami Beach Convention Center
Reviewed June 16, 2012

There's talk of updating/remodeling the MBCC, but it's still going strong despite its age.

this was my second Wrestlemania Axxess (first being at Wrestlemania 25) and this one was far better than my previous experience. The lines seemed to move faster and there was far more oppertunities for Autographs and Photos which is the real reason I go to these things.

Only negative was the security staff at a lot of the signing stages. There are always 2 minimum but usually 3 people up on the stage with the WWE Superstar(s) and traditionally you can give them your camera and they will quicky snap a shot of you and the wrestler while they give you and autograph. Numerous of them this year though the staff just refused to take photos and it then holds up the line and makes you feel like a jerk while you frantically search for a friend or the person behind you in line to take the picture. Drop the attitude and press one button dude!

At the photo stations they were super efficient and give you an awesome plastic card with all the details of how to access your photos on the internet. Great experience for WWE fans and seems to get better each year.

Attended the first two WWE Axxess sessions here, spent a long time in line waiting for signings. Staff were poor on the second night, tried to end signing early after we'd waited over 2 hours.

Long line outside to collect ticketmaster will call tickets on the first evening. Parking was conveinent directly across the road and cost $15 for the event.

Food and Drink were expensive but no more than you'd expect to pay and a venue of this type, Restrooms we clean and services regularly

Nothing special about this place. Unless they have a convention or event that sparks your interest, then just steer clear.

The only reason to visit is if your convention is there. It's an older venue. Of course the great and exciting South Beach is all around and that is great.
