Got a great table, service was excellent and the architectural ambiance was fantastic. The food was excellent but the steaks were just very good. I had hoped for the best steak ever but alas nothing beats mine....especially when its over a hand sawed wood fire in a remote canoe accessed Northern Ontario Lake. Lol.

“Tomahawk Kobe & Stone Crab”
Reviewed August 29, 2013

Service wasn't bad but it wasn't anything special despite dropping over $400 on dinner for two. If you have the Kobe beef cuts and add sides and a few drinks you will probably end up around the $300 to $400 mark. The Kobe Tomahawk on the bone was pretty good although it originated from Australian Kobe beef instead of Japanese. I believe there are still bans on Japanese beef imports but not sure on that one.
We also had colossal stone crab claws for appetizer which were pretty high prized and not too good. If you want stone craps you probably shouldn't try to get them at a stake joint.
Atmosphere is pretty hip in spite of what were surely vampires humming around bar area during happy hour looking for next wallet heavy middle aged victim.
Not sure if the value equation sits in their favor but the place is nice and the dishes are fairly well made and to some degree original.

“Overrated”
Reviewed August 24, 2013 via mobile

Overrated compared to what you pay. Ok meat but sauces with skin and the service is "too much" imo.. Atmosphre is noisy. Prices are very high and the winelist is not what I expected. Wouldnt rekkomend this restauran...absolutely Not varlie for your money.

“Great place! Highly recommend it!”
Reviewed August 19, 2013

I went For the Miami spice menu, the atmosphere was great, everyone dressed nice, you don't really see people with shorts and a shirt if you know what I mean. There were two servers assign to my table, which made the customer service fantastic. You gotta ask for the Miami menu though if not they just give you the regular one.we asked tuna tartare and oysters( there's only 3 oysters) and dinner, the ribeye and the wagyu steak which were cooked to perfection! The meat would cut so easy, you have to pay $4 for a side for your meat. Overall the experience was amazing and the food was delicious!
