Lincoln Road has the same stores as any mall in a rich neighborhood. Go for the Gap, J. Crew, Banana Republic, Apple Store etc. It also has a bunch of overpriced, low quality restaurants making bank off of location rather than quality.
There are a few gems hidden amongst this. Books and Books is a great independent bookstore with cafe. Shake Shack is a welcome addition. Miami Beach Church has some interesting exhibits. The weekends with the antique market can be pretty fun.
But the real reason to visit Lincoln Road is for the people watching. I gain much pleasure from watching and passing judgement on tasteless rich people, people who spend more on cosmetic surgery in a year than the average American Salary and half-naked people showing off.
It's a fun place to take a walk, but don't expect anything more than a freakshow at an outdoor mall. Maybe if you are lucky there will be an awful reality TV show filming and you will have a chance to appear in the background. Try not to have a dumb look on your face.
