We spend an afternoon in the Dolphin mall and around dinner time we found Kobe. We went for the grill table. Food was quite good. Service could be better.

Server was friendly, sushi rolls and tropical drink were good. Tropical drink was a bit spends though, especially since it was a Wednesday night and about 3 people in the place. Disappointed that they automatically add gratuity regardless if its one person or 20 people. Thought the tip was way too high. Won't be going back, especially since there are many sushi places in Miami.

We ate as a family of 6. This was my best Filet Mignon of the holiday. We all had great food. Very entertaining chef. All had Teppenyaki. A little expensive when feeding 6 hungry adults, but worth it.

I tried this place out for lunch the first time with a friend and was highly displeased. First, it took over 15 minutes for a server to come to our table (we were sitting outside). The sushi variety is very limited (mainly all cooked/fried). I decided to try the philadelphia roll and rainbow roll. The waitress bought us spicy mayo and eel sauce as dipping sauces and the eel sauce was disgustingly thick and tasted stale, burnt and nothing like eel sauce.

The rainbow roll which consisted of a calfornia roll wrapped on top with an assortment of fish (white fish, salmon & masago) was awful. The masago tasted like it was going bad, has an unpleasant fish tast and the white fish tasted rubbery. We had to wait another 5-10 minutes after our food had arrived to get our waitress to get us plates for our soy sauce and we just about had it after our bill included an 18% gratuity.

This place has terrible sushi, slow service and is overpriced considering that its in mall and the fish quality is awful!!!!!

I have been going for two years but the service is always horrible. Today I ate there for the last time when the owner told me he is too busy to speak to me about the horrible service. Don't support a restaurant that can't stand behind good service!
