My wife and I were staying at the Mandarin and walked the short distance to the restaurant. Seafood was terrific and the service was very accomplished. The place is spacious and refined at the same time. A bit pricey but I would definitely return, particularly since we enjoy staying at the Mandarin

We've been to Truluck's four times. We've had great service twice and poor service twice. Food is always good, albeit pricey. All crab dishes are great. Avoid large groups as this is apparently where things pose a challenge for the staff.

Booked in advance in the morning just in case, glad we did. Place was packed, and I now know why.
Very good location (as we were in the Mandarin) and good inside.
Good service, seafood and excellent fish options and fine choice wines.
I would visit again if in Miami.

Food was excellent. Service was iffy at bar tables. Happy hour menu is fantastic if you make it before 7.

We were supposed to commemorate our 25th anniversary at Azul, Mandarin oriental hotel gastronomic restaurant, where we were staying.
And we had booked Truluck’s for the day after dinner.
Due to a huge mistake of Azul, who changed its style during the reform of the other restaurant of the hotel, we had to find urgently a second option and asked to change our reservation from the day after to right now at Truluck’s, and happily they managed to allow us a very nice and large corner table.
We ordered a Perrier Jouet Champagne Rosé to start, good pairing with our chilled seafood platter, increased with additional large stone crab claws: simply delicious.
Then we had two South African Lobster tails, the Rolls Royce of lobsters,… and it’s true, so tasty, tender but consistent, and big, very, very good!
The Meursault we ordered was fantastic and combined ideally with this magic lobster.
For desert, we limited ourselves to share a carrot cake, we already knew from another experience at this restaurant, and it was as good as we remembered.
Our waiter (unfortunately we forgot his name…) was really excellent, giving always good suggestions and taking care of our table the best possible way.
Finally we had our very special dinner, with fantastic dishes, delicious wines, great service, and nice ambiance: we’ll keep very good memories of that moment.
Thank you Truluck’s!!
