Stayed here for a night before traveling up to Orlando. Really lovely size clean rooms and comfortable beds. The only let down was no tea and coffee facilities in the room which was disappointing. The pool area at this hotel was lovely with nice views just a shame it was also a smoking area.
The breakfast at this hotel was delicious.
I would definately go back to this hotel again the only downside I found was the hotel shuttle took forever to arrive at the airport and one bus went past and didnt stop at all.

Miami definetely has its own definition of what 'luxus' is. The Sofitel of Miami is the best example : you think you're gonna have the time of your life in a great hotel with a view over the blue lagoon but you end up sleeping in a dirty place with a view over a tiny green/brown lake. The outside already says much : old, dirty, ugly and not the way you had pictured a 'sofitel'. Inside, the atmosphere is 'cheap', the lift looks so disgusting that you don't even dare to press the button, the beds are really small (they were twice bigger in all the motel 6 i've stayed in) and the swimming pool is small and ridiculous and not at all like on the pictures. I was suprised that there was no mini bar in the room (with such a heat, it's something you might need), and not the usual slippers/bathrobes as well. When we asked the reception, they told us there werent enough fridges and bathrobes for everybody so guests just need to let them know if they ever need it so they can have it. Later, someone from the hotel brought up the fridge and let it in front of our door (???), we were two girls, we had to carry and set up the fridge ourselves. Also, when we tried to call the reception before to ask why these things were missing, nobody ever picked up the phone at any of the numbers given. Another negative point : location quite hard to find compared to a lot of the other hotels around. The only great thing about the Sofitel is the breakfast, the breakfast is amazing ! But why would you pay so much money for a low-cost hotel ? i left the Sofitel for the Holiday Inn express in Miami springs, I have paid twice less and everything there was perfect (breakfast not as good as the sofitel but that was it). I will never ever choose this hotel again, the photos online are all photoshopped, It's an expensive 'cheap' hotel so it doesnt make sense to stay there. You can get much better in Miami by paying much less.

Room Tip: The view is horrible on both sides so it doesnt matter which room you pick.

The hotel was pretty and inviting. We had dinner at their restaurant and it was delicious. Very friendly waiter. The room was roomy and clean. Nice pool with comfy chairs and tables for relaxing. Great price.

We stayed here for one night post cruise. The rooms are very comfortable and nicely appointed. Just what you need for a quick stay. The hotel itself is a bit removed from any restaurants and will require taxis to get to nicer places to dine. However, I will say the restaurant inside of the hotel served a lovely breakfast with views of the gardens. The hotel staff, especially the bell staff, were very helpful in securing our luggage and recommending places to see.

We stayed two nights, good hotel, staff are very helpful, customer focussed and attentive. The hotel has very grand interiors and exterior. The pool area is large and quite unique and sits directly off the bar and restaurants.

The room was good quality, the beds are really comfortable and the amenities are of a good standard. There is a starbucks in reception, but I am to sure when it opens or closes are we didn't manage to take it wince when it was, it would be great to have longer opening hours!?

Food quality of an evening was excellent and staff are very attentive. Breakfast leaves something to be desired.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on one of the higher floors
