It was very mediocre. The rooms look dated, the balcony was locked and ive never paid that much for a room where breakfast was not complimentary. Stay at the airport Hilton. Atleast the room was Worth what I paid.

To set the stage fairly, there was a large conference (I am told 1400 people - families with children of all ages) when we stayed there. The infratructure (elevators, lounging areas, wi-fi, and staff) were stretched quite thin.

This hotel is in a great location and within walking distance or a short taxi ride to numerous restaurants. You can easily walk to the Bayfront, and the hotel is a couple of streets away from the traffic of Bayshore Boulevard. There is also a people-mover stop close to the hotel and it is right off a major highway. However, this is an older hotel in severe need of some freshening up.

On check-in we were told that the only room available for our family of four was one which had a wall bed, pull-out couch and a roll-in bed. The check-in desk was generous enough to offer us free breakfast (nothing spectacular) and internet (fair at best). The room turned out to be roomy and comfortable, but housekeeping was extremely slow and late. Inspite of the heavy rush the staff was very nice and helpful.

This is a good hotel, in a great location, the staff is very good and helpful. We've stayed before, but this time we had so many inconveniences with the valet parking people, that we moved to another hotel. The wait for our car was ALWAYS a half hour, one night the lady in charge of the booth threw the keys on the counter, when my husband complained of the wait, and on top of that, you pay $35.00 plus tips, for that kind of service.

The staff in this Hyatt was absolutely wonderful. Their helpfulness and kindness were the best I experienced in the long, long time - big kudos!
The rooms are outdated and the wear is showing up - the corporate office needs to make some very needed upgrades.

This hotel is in a great location downtown Miami. Within walking distance or a short taxi ride of numerous restaurants. Close to Port of Miami, Bayside and South Beach. Every person there was very nice and helpful. However, this is an older hotel in severe need of a makeover. It reeks 1980's with the harvest gold wall paint and carpet as well as the basket weave wall paper in the halls. Built way before the age of electronic gadgets, plugs are scarce. Only one plug on the desk. Most other plugs hidden behind furniture and hard to get to. Bed needed upgrade as well. Very uncomfortable and well worn. This hotel has a lot of potential but really needs upgrading.

The service was good and the rooms were nice. However, the Internet never worked, even after an hour with technical support. The parking was kind of pricey--$35 for valet parking and $19 for self-parking. The room was a little noisy because of the drawbridge. It sounded like I was next to the airport when the airplanes take off.

Do not believe the negative comments you read about this great hotel. Stayed here for the third time at room 2233 and everything was amazing as usual but this time we had the pleasure of meeting Ivo ...... Ivo is the assistant manager of the restaurant and he was very welcoming with his great service making sure that everything was great for us. The gym is very small but very nice and clean. Congratulations to the GM of this property for hiring only the very best staff. Thanks and see you soon.
