Recently relocated to Miami from California. Needed a place close to the airport to stay for a couple days that didnt cost an arm and a leg. The Red Roof Hotel was perfect!!! The rooms were clean and up kept. No nasty bathrooms or stale smelling sheets. The beds were comfortable and towels replenished with no problem :-) My favorite part was the lady at the front desk. Her name was Nora and she always had a great smile and laugh. Anything I needed wether it was a recommendation of a place to eat or get my dry leaning done ASAP... she was able to help me out. Like I said. Great Location. Friendly Front Desk. Awesome Value. Thanks for the awesome stay =)

After staying in Coral Gable, I booked a room for 2 nights nearby the airport and the car rental center. This Red Roof Inn was perfect located with an affordable fair. When you stay in such type of lodging the only thing you expect is to have a bed and bathroom. This Red Roof overcome my expectations offering free wi-fi (ok, slow, but worked) and nice window glasses that made me sleep all night long besides being the route of the airplanes. Fair services, a nice professional in the reception completed the stay.

Room Tip: Ask for the ones in the second building.

4 of us stayed here in two double rooms 20th May 2012. We were in the rear building.
1) First off... the room we had on the frst night was next to the lift and the counterweight seemed to run through behind a partition wall in our room, we complained about this and were given another room the next day. Although we were 3 rooms from the lift this time we still had noise from it.
Seems to me this hotel has serious problems with noise from the lifts as this was 2 different lifts.

2) Whilst serving the customer who was ahead of us and ourselves the girl in the 'shop' was talking to some-one on her cell-phone. As she was speaking Spanish I don't know if it was a personal call or not but it sure sounded like it. Anyway she never made eye contact with any of us and after totting up the bill each time just pointed to the total displayed on the cash register. Maybe she doesn't speak English in which case she shouldn't be working in the 'shop'. Such a shame as it means I've had to give 'average' for service when I might have given 'excellent'

3) There is not enough tables and chairs in either the breakfast room or the outside area put to-gether and the ones inside are not stable so if you aren't careful you'll spill your coffee all over the place.

4) The 'Spa' bathrooms the manager keeps twanging on about look like any-other motel bathroom to me except the basin (which is outside in the bedroom just like any other motel) is a moden square one.

5) The place is spotlessly clean

6) Reception staff are very friendly and helpful

starting with the driver from the shuffle van ,rude he was yelling to us ,when we get there in the reception ,very rude people ,not even say hello ,or welcome to you ,i understand this hotel ,is very low category ,we lost are flight and we decide to stay in this property ,very wrong mistake ,i don't know how this people can very very proud and delightful thought is not bed bugs in here ,is disgusting ,you can here everything from wall to wall ,this is not an hotel is a piece of garbage ,uuggghhh very disgusting ,if you lost your flight put something extra to stay at sofitel hotel ,or better satay in the airport.

I stayed here with 3 friends in April 12 for 4 nights. I knew we would be arriving late so prior to leaving the UK I sent Red Roof an e-mail to inform them. I included all the details of the two room bookings and recieved a reply that a note would be added.

After a 3 and a half hour drive from Orlando we arrived at 1.30am to be told we only had one room booked. Even after showing the reception staff my booking confirmations they still looked blankly at me and said I only booked one room in a "take it or leave it" tone. After insisting they had made a mistake they then realised a late arrival note had not been put on our second booking and they then found it in the "No show" file. It was now 2 am and our next problem was finding parking. There is a gated car park down the side of the hotel but the gate is pointless seeing as it opens automatically when you approach it. There is a real lack of spaces and every night we struggled to find a space and sometimes had to park on the grass a little way down the road which didnt feel very safe.

The rooms have recently been renovated and they are large, clean and comfortable. This was the only positive I could find with the Miami Red Roof Inn.

In the four days we were there our keycard had to be reprogrammed twice which meant going from the fifth floor down to the reception to wait in a line because the reception is very slow. This is not very helpful after a long day out.

The communal parts of the hotel do not feel very safe either with large groups of people hanging out in the reception or by the pool at night drinking cans of beer and the back door of the hotel has a keycard reader but is never locked so anybody can get into the buildings without having to pass through reception. Evidence of the lack of security is the fact that 2 to 3 times a day people delivery fast food menus will push them under the door to your room. So if these people are free to walk the corridors without being challenged then what is stopping somebody breaking into your room?

If you are just stopping over for the night before catching a flight then the Red Roof Inn should be just enough for you butany longer then that I would suggest you find elsewhere.

Thank you for writing a review on our hotel. We do apologize for the check in delay. Because you arrive after midnight a 'no show' is automatically applied to your reservations, you are actually in a new day. We are delighted that you liked our new rooms with boutique style furnishings, Serta comfort mattresss and spa inspired bathrooms. As an airport hotel we are host to a lot of international guests. In reference to the gathering of guests, our pool, patio and spacious lobby lends to the ideal meeting area for friends and to make new acquaintances. It is generally buzzing with guests going in/out to partake of Miami's entertainment or just to sit and enjoy the ambiance. We do have adequate security, they cover all areas in and around the hotel. Thank you again and we hope to see you on your next trip to the area.

This is our second stay at the Miami Airport Redroof Inn, and what a difference! We drove to the Redroof Inn, parked our car, checked it in with the front desk and caught the shuttle to the Miami cruiseport. We were allowed to park there for 12 nights while we cruised to Barcelona and flew back. On our return, the shuttle picked us up at the airport and delivered us to the hotel where we checked in for the night. I was very pleasantly surprised by the remodel of the lobby. Even at the late hour, the staff was very efficient. I was even more surprised bymth remodel of the room. We were Ina handicapped room, si it was extremely large. Gone was the old, dark carpet; replaced by light wood flooring! A fresh duvet replaced the worn, dubious looking bedspread. On the negative side, the door had not been replaced, so there was gap where the carpet had been that allowed light and noise. Still, after a 24 hour travel day, we rested very well. We chose to skip the limited breakfast, but the coffee was very good. We will return to Redroof Inn for future cruises.

As you stated, we did changed the carpets to wooden floors and replaced the bedding with the superior Serta Comfort Mattress and new duvets, spa inspired bathroom, and boutiques style furnishings.
