Wynwood is a great place to enjoy a walk around and feel the street art vibe. There are many stores, coffee places and bars around that make the visit even better.

You could spend hours seeing everything. Amazing artwork! There's also the opportunity to purchase smaller murals in the various local shops if one really catches your eye (which they will). Definitely worth the visit.

I walked the Wynwood Walls and the neighborhood last week during off hours. First, the murals are amazing, but hard to see with the massive amount of people taking selfies in front of every mural...although there are art installations including a rock garden, very few seem to notice them. However, while we were there someone used the rock art installation to prop their phone for a photo in front of a mural. Most visitors seemed more interested in them showing they visited the walls than actually looking at them. The whole neighbor hood is full of fascinating and provocative art works inside the walls and outside throughout the neighborhood. One of my favorites murals was three or four blocks over and included all the villains of the movies. The area is very trendy near the walls but a bit more urban as you move away. Lots of hard luck homeless folks just living as they can in the midst of tourist attraction boom. It's worth a visit but don't limit yourself to inside the "walls".

Wynwood was so much fun and a different atmosphere than south beach. The art, outdoor restaurants, families it was a great experience. I will go back for sure.
