The food at Michy's really is the reason to come here. Quite delicious and varied. We were lucky that the chef and owner Michelle Bernstein was at the restaurant and we enjoyed meeting her and chatting. The service is also excellent.

reservations are a must! We had a party of 11 people and service was great. Food was good and tasty but there was nothing unusual or different about it as advertisement stated. We had mushroom/truffle risotto, foie gras, muscles, etc. The best of all was desert - Baked Alaska (as on the picture of restaurant advertisement) and it was really good (with pistachio ice cream inside). We probably wouldn't come back but it's worth a try at least once.

We tried the three course tasting menu, it was a great way to try it all when there are only two diners! Best small plate was the blue cheese croquettes, the fig jam that was served on the side was fantastic. Best entree was the fresh carbonara with a poached egg on top or the short ribs with a side of bone marrow. Dessert was BEYOND delicious, their baked Alaska was comprised of pistachio cake, dulce de leche ice cream and Italian meringue, one of e best desserts period.

The food here is just teriffic and the service was perfect. It's a small place and has become popular so plan ahead for reservations. A great spot for a special occassion.

We did not have reservation that night, but it was early and we were in the area. They sat us in the counter and we loved it, we had an amazing dinner. It was a Friday, got packet. We were told that Wednesday are the fried chicken special dinners, so we went back a couple of weeks after on a Wednesday to taste the chicken. Neither me, nor my husband found the fried chicken to be any special. We will go back in a heart bit, but not on Wednesdays...
