Although the location is, at best, evolving, the place is attractive and certainly eclectic.

No doubt about the tasty tapas-- they're delicious.

It's hard not to sample at least half of the wine selections, starting with the prosecco, plowing through the whites and ending with a bold red.

The service is top notch; the proprietor is guaranteed to make you feel like royalty!

Months after the closing of Ouzo (oh how I miss the moussaka) the charming Liza is back with a great idea. Tapas and wine but not just the usual bunch these are small winery selections. Three of us went to check out what Liza had put together. The place was charming and felt intimate while having plenty of space. While we decided to sit outside (to enjoy what likely was the last cool night in Miami this year) the inside had a beautiful & simple wine house decor. The bar bottom is covered in panels of wine crates and there's wine bottles decoratively on display around the restaurant.

But your reading this to know about the food which in one word was AMAZING! The three of us wanted to try everything on the menu. We decided to go with the white Bordeaux which was crisp and complimented everything we enjoyed in the menu. When the bottle came out we received a small sampling of the crostini which set us off on our palette journey.

First to arrive the ROMA Flatbread (prosciutto, fontina, basil) which came on a cutting board for me this was tasty but not what I wanted because I was savoring and craving the BARCELONA (chorizo, red bell peppers, manchego) which was savory and mildly spicy.

Next arrived the Merguez sausage which was nicely spicy and played with a tasty bean salad which paired well. Which was joined by Empanadas (tuna & goat cheese), and two different crostini the Gorgonzola & date; as well as the reorder of my favorite crostini the taramosalata, carp roe, with lemon juice.

Next was the steak which arrived on a cutting board and perfectly medium rare. Albeit I don't eat beef I was told it was under salted by one of my friends and perfect for the other. My take it's well balanced because my friend likes things more salty. This came with the pulpo (octopus) which I took one bite and immediately ordered another for my friends to share because I knew I was going to finish that one by myself.

Then arrived the rigatoni which was a savory take-off-spin on Liza's Ouzo moussaka (have I mentioned how much I miss that moussaka?) which was her lighter version of the popular Balkan-Mediterranean dish for the Miami climate. This was a combination of lamb and rigatoni topped off with her cheesy moussaka baked topping.

Nearly 4 hours and 5 bottles later we decided to close the place and finish our night with Mama Lucy's coconut lemon cake (which as the name says was prepared by Liza's mom). It was a fluffy lemon cake topped with coconut flakes and lemon drizzle served with a side of ice cream. It was the perfect "sweet ending" to our night.

Thank you Liza for opening your "home" to us and allowing us to hang out and enjoy all the exquisite tapas and our new favorite wine. I'll be coming back regularly.
