Good stuff. Good and fast Airboats. It was pretty hot, however it's cool. We spend about 30 minutes.

We tried alligator meal - it was delicious.
It's better to buy tickets via internet, then it's about 20$ with taxes.

Thank AntonKr

I was pretty excited to see some gators and possibly crocodiles while riding on an airboat through the Everglades. This is not what I ended up experiencing. We got a short (maybe 10 minutes) airboat ride into the edge of the Everglades, where our guide stopped and gave us an opportunity to ask questions. After maybe 3 questions were asked our tour guide went on an anti-government rant about mis-management of the parks, unnecessary water bridges, something about the govt blaming things on panthers, and all sorts of other stuff. He made it very clear at the end of the ride that he worked on tips and everyone needed to help him pay his rent. There was a brief animal show after the ride and the guide did a great job engaging the audience, but there were really only 4 animals to show - a large gator, a medium sized gator, a baby gator, and a toad. He also had a scorpion. He very quickly went over the differences of toad & frogs, and gators & crocodiles. After the show we tried to stick around to get a better look at the large Gator and he rudely told us to get out so he could pack up his box and go pick up his kid. I was very put off by the staff - they all seemed very rushed and just looking for a quick tip.

I work part time as a tour guide in Miami and have the choice to take my groups to any of the many Everglades Park. I choose to take the Guests to Gator Park due to the authentic feeling of the wild Everglades. The guests love the atmosphere here and the airboat ride feels very safe, suitable for Families with small children and elderly Guests.
Guest that complain about not seeing enough wildlife are missing the purpose of the tour to see “ Wildlife” It’s not that you can schedule Gators, Turtles etc to make an appearance when it would suit you. With that said there is not one single time ( 3-10 time per month) I went to Gator park where we did not see at least a few wild Gators.
The boat ride is pleasant and varies a bit in time 20-40 min, the first part is zooming at high speed on the airboat, and then there is a stop to enjoy the calm of the Everglades with the Guide explaining some of the major points about the glades. Then at slow speed it takes you back to the dock with continuous guidance from the guide who points out Wildlife he can spot from his high chair. All guides are very pleasant and knowledgeable. You would WANT to leave a Gratuity, it is not mandatory and the guide will mention the option one time. No hassle about that at all.
The short wildlife show the guests enjoy after the airboat ride is funny and the guides are very eager to share the knowledge of the different creatures they introduce.
Many guests love to take pictures holding a Gator after the show for $3 you use your own camera and can take as many pictures as you like.
At the back of the property you can see different size Gators in various open areas while Peacocks roam the area, if you are lucky you see them spreading their colorful feathers. There is also a terrarium showcasing some snakes and lizards and Gator/Crocodile skulls for comparison.
A well-stocked Gift shop and a small menu (with Frog legs and fried Alligator tail as well as Burgers, etc.) will satisfy the appetite and souvenir hunter. Enjoy your stay in the fantastic nature of the Everglades.

It was a great experience! We booked the trip through our hotel and the bus picked us up and drove us out to the Park. Staff quickly got us into the oversize airboats and we headed out into the glades. We saw gators in the river areas and our guide told us all about the gators and assorted fauna in the everglades. He got us prepared and took us on an exciting ride across the water and grass returning us safely to the center where we saw a staff member work with various reptiles and insects, including a very big gator named Larry who intimidated us all!
An experience worth the bus ride!
