Beautiful sunny, almost cool afternoon in MIami and we noticed a big sign on the street for BOCCE BAR. And right behind the sign was a real bocce court-I think it is called a court-but a strip of grass. It was a little late for lunch, not too crowded, and we wandered in. The title tells you everything-authentic Italian.
It was great. The room is spectacular, (beams imported from Italy, tiles from Florence, chef from Venice) the service impeccable and friendly, and the food really was delicious. I had a 'spreadable spicy salami' named Njuda. Never heard of it before. It was really tasty. My wife's salad was wonderful, and full of new flavors and tastes. The entire meal was filled with flavorful surprises.
It just opened a month ago, and if it is not packed yet, it will be soon. Really worth a visit!
