We arrived with the rental car around 9PM, there's no parking around the hotel so, and we used the temporary loading zone. After I checked in we drove around some more to find parking, finally someone moved so, we got meter parking in front of the hotel (there are total of 3 meter parking). The meter takes up to 3 hours at a time, meter starts from 7am--2Am, very inconvenience if you have a car. Parking garage nearby was going to charge us $7 for up to mid-night then after mid-night there will be another $15 for parking, total of $22 for just overnight parking.

After we parked the car then we took our carry-on inside, we pushed the bell for an elevator, it was operated by a hotel staff-manually (no wonder it took a while).

We got to our room on 4th floor, first thing I noticed is the smell, the window doesn't open, and no air condition in the room but there's an air vent in the room. Bathroom was warm, no air vent, toilet doesn't really flush(have tried a to flush a couple of time with no luck), hardly any water coming out of faucet in the bathroom sink, no hot water in the shower, the bathroom has outside lash to keep the door from swinging open. TV has a remote but it doesn't work. The room has a closet, one chair, and one table.

We stayed up until 2am looking for new hotel to stay. Found one really nice one with $10 more/night, it was 100% worth it to find new hotel since we were staying for four more nights.

We were looking forward to breakfast which was included BUT.... it was just toast and some kind of banana bread and coffee, almost too scary to eat.

Room Tip: The new hotel we stayed at was close to the airport, we drove by to see it first. It has really good breakfast, cappuccino machine in lobby, swimming pool, shuttle to airport, light dinner, full kitchenette in the room. Guest laundry, workout room, hotel info: Element Miami International Airport 3525 NW 25th Street Miami, FL 33142 Tel: 305-636-1600 I recommend book it from their web-site for deals. This is a brand new hotel so; we got a really good rate at $76/night. Parking is $9/day.

These people stole our money and wouldn't give a refund when we didn't even use the room and didn't need it after 1 hour of making a reservation.

They are the rudest criminals I've ever dealt with at a hotel. I am NOT EXAGGERATING.

They should be investigated and thrown in jail for their enterprise.

Room Tip: Do not stay here.

The room totally smelled like mold, it was disgusting to stay in. The bathroom had no light. The bedroom windows cannot open. The air conditioner was very loud. I couldn't believe this hotel still exist in downtown Miami, surrounded by so many beautiful buildings. It should be shut down. I'd review it 0 point if it's allowed.

Room Tip: NEVER book this hotel!!!

Me and my buddy stayed here whilst visiting Miami for Wrestlemania and this was just a one night stop before staying at the Hilton. End of the day, it is a clean bed and bathroom. Nothing more, nothing less. I would NEVER take a partner or someone you care about there as it doesn't feel 100% safe and room doors do not look secure however travelling with buddies on a tight budget or for a night then its perfect. Breakfast is embarrassing but you may as well indulge seems as it's free. NOT BAD BUT NOT GREAT!

For us, locations wise was it perfect, because couple step away was the German-Embassy ,that we need it to go ! From this point of view , great!!
BUT !!
We just had one night and it was the longest ,dirties, scariest, sleepless night ever!
The room that we had was inside, we couldn't open the window ,and if we did we had to decide to sleep with some of the bugs or cockroaches, so we left them closed. The showers was so dirty that we were afraid we could catch some fungus if you were smart enough you could shower with socks on ,. The bed sheets looked used, the carpet was dark blue or was it dirt we could not figure it out , our room door didnt close properly ,you needed it lean a chair against the door ! and be aware nobody comes in the middle of the night!!!
We had the third floor ,and it was the only way to get down to the lobby was to use the 95 year old elevator with slidable lattice grate doors ,which somebody has to actuate ,which had crank handle ! Actually for antique collectors perfect, but was it safe for us? it was scary !
You have to ring the bell to have the very silent non-talkative lift-boy to pick you up from that floor were you are in and bring you down or up again...So ,little exhausting situation ,especially when you ring the bell and nobody is there. You wait or ring again...

There is no parking close to the Hotel ,,only a parking garage (steps away) that charge you 25$ for the night ,and you don't see your car till next day ,because they drive your car up to the empty floors ,(12 floor garage) , so if you do that ,make sure you have everything with you, its not a easy access back to your car again!

Breakfast area looks like cleaner ,but not much to eat ...atmosphere like ,we didn't like it at all...no talking no laughter, serious faces, only over-loud tv ,you'll be happy to get out of the street as soon as possible ...
Would I do it again?? NO !
would I recommend it? NO !
Am I proud that we did it ? YES! but, that was the only time....
