“Great Venue. Great Food.”

Low key, always a busy vibe. Beers, wine and some of Miami's best no drama Mediterranean. The outdoor seating I hear is on the way.

“Welcomed addition to the neighborhood”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 6, 2014

Great new addition to the area. Nice happy hour and pretty eclectic menu that goes beyond Mediterranean fare. The indoor dining space is wonderful. There's also the option of dining outdoors, but in Miami that would be more an option during winter. The food was pretty good and the serving size was smallish but still satisfying. Great place to order drinks and several plates to share among friends or on a fun date.

“Great atmosphere”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 4, 2014 via mobile

I was surprised by the amount of plentiful parking. We walked in an we're impressed by the decor. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. The menu selections were very making our mouths water. We had the dip sampler which was great and the fresh herbed pita was a hit with my son. He made it disappear. The dolmas were good but lacked flavor in my opinion. Most of the food was under seasoned. I had the falafel and gyro sliders. It was a small portion. The side Israeli salad was not what I expected as it had cabbage and carrots. It seemed like a combo of the little small plates you get at an Israeli restaurant but it needed more of something. I think acidity was missing. The mini pitas should have already had something on them. They were dry so I had to take out the falafels and reconstruct them. My husband had the kafta kabob with onion rice. He loved the rice. The kafta was good. This was also a small plate. My son got the cheese pizza which was larger than I expected but also lacked flavor. Overall the experience was good and I would go again to try a few more items in the menu.

“A new favorite”

Found this little gem on a random outing and am so glad. Shared a bottle of wine and a few appetizers and every single thing was delicious. The service was impeccable and the atmosphere was warm.

“Great casual Mediterranean newcomer in Miami's upper east side.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 5, 2014

Open just a few months in a converted industrial building with a high ceiling and big clerestory windows, the warm welcome starts when you walk in. A varied, truly Mediterranean menu, with items from from Spain, France, Italy, Greece, Lebanon, Egypt and Morocco and a moderately priced wine list. The menu is of the current style with small, medium and large plates, so you can sample various items or focus on a main dinner entree. We were there for happy hour/early supper, so we had a flavorful baba ganoush with the lightest pita imaginable, followed by an aromatic fish tagine with a little cous cous and a spicy harissa sauce and a heaping veggie pizza made crispy on the same thin pita base, all of which we shared, and a delicious Greek wine. The staff and owners are charming, and we will definitely return soon.
