Very few times you find a restaurant this beautiful, in an industrial sort of (Brookling-Greenpoint) way where the food taste like home Mediterranean cooking. It's a new restaurant so we can forgive a few things, but there was no reason to forgive anything, the experience was pure, simple, organic and divine.... The best lamb patties I had in the US, please do yourself a favor and order the lamb sliders... follow them with one of the baked casseroles, the pasticcio was a superb blend of meat bechamel pasta and subtle spice with cinnamon hints without being overwhelming, think refined grandmother secret recipe made with love. Small fried calamaris... well truly Mediterranean...and they had a small well chosen wine list... go with the Lebanese wine, you will no be sorry, best on the list. I can't wait to go back...

Great food and satisfactory service but kitchen needs some serious help. We have been here four times but this will be our last until they can fix their issues. It took twenty five minutes(25) between the first entrée and the last entrée to arrive to our table of four. While we understand it is a new restaurant and have overlooked the issues during our previous three visits, it has gotten to the point of being unacceptable. When we complained and asked that the last entrée be removed, we where told by our server that management refused and that all that could be removed was the dessert and a ginger ale (less than the price of the entrée). Not the response we where looking for after being loyal customers

I have been to Mina's twice, once eat in and just now take out, I was compelled to write the review and haven't finished eating yet.

The eat in experience was nice even though it was their soft opening and there wasn't many people. The food was extraordinary, I had the 3 for $15 dips, the feta, Tziki and hummus, plenty of pita the feta is a little spicy but can easily be a meal shared for 2 or more if you feel like sampling. The Tomato basil soup is out of this world, really I do not like tomato based foods especially a soup but this tastes like Vodka sauce yet is creamy and rich and really delicious. We had the Lamb Burger sliders which were equally delicious and served on cute pita bread sliders. The hibiscus tea is yummy and the Chocolate Tart is really just the icing on the cake. Today on the take out order I had essentially the same minus the burgers and as before WOW, consistency! Happily and with enthusiasm, I recommend Mina's Mediterraneo for quite possibly the best high end Fusion Mediterranean(dying to try their french dishes) good luck and happy eating!
