We came across this place accidentially as we were located in a hotel nearby. The review we found in the net was quite interesting, so we decided to go there ... saturday evening with no reservation.

Anyhow, we got a table within no time ... with view on runway of Miami Intl. (unfortunately w/o the earphones at our table). The staff was very friendly, food was fantastic. We´ve had some shrimp cocktail as starter and fish / salmon as main course. Lovely!

The atmosphere was coherent, the whole place decorated nicely.

So if you´d ever happen to be around, don´t miss this place.

We enjoyed an early flight dinner menu which consisted of Soup (Beer Cheese) and nice dinner salad with honey mustard dressing. The entrees were a Prime Rib nicely cooked with wonderful mashed potatoes that melted in your mouth. The vegetables were cooked to perfection but could have used some more on the plate. The salmon entree was cooked to perfection without drying it out with nice blanc & lemon sauce with seasoning of thyme. The entrees were tasty and included bread with your dinner. The dessert was key lime pie one of the best I have had in long time and a chocolate mousse that had a nice taste also. I am not much of chocolate lover so I vote for the key lime pie. The price for the early flight dinner is between 18-25.00 which includes all of the stuff above great value. The atmosphere was overlooking the landing of planes which adds to it if you want to hear it on the headsets. Our waiter was great Yoceil I believe was his name and totally professional & gracious with making sure we were satisfied. Enjoyable experience and would recommend.

The buffet was set up in a few different places of the building. There were so many options to choose from. Almost all of them were yummy. We enjoyed the music while we ate. We didn't realize it was live music until we went to the room where they made omelets, waffles and pancakes to order. It was also enjoyable to watch the planes take off at the airport across the street.

I was apprehensive because it was an airport restaurant. I wanted to go into town and spend some money. My wife prevailed for proximity and an early night. I was pleasantly surprised.

The venue is like traveling in time to WWII: decor, music --- and food! Its traditional American fare i.e. Shrimp Cocktail, Prime Rib, Key Lime Pie ---- loved it. A massive dose of nostalgia.

It must be especially cool for kids who can listen to the tower on the table headsets. Pretty cool.

Even if you don't have kids its great fun and good value. We were staying at the nearby Hilton; rode the shuttle there for free and were picked up afterward. It turned out to be a very smart choice.

I recommend it.
