“Nice Views But A Bit Out Of The Way”
Reviewed November 25, 2013

The views of the yachts and harbor are very nice but getting to the restaurant is a fairly long drive from the main street. This should not be a deterrent when driving but you certainly wouldn't want to walk there.

Compared to other Chart House locations, this was just a notch below. The food was good, although the variety seemed a bit less than other locations. Our service was friendly, but frankly not very good. Missing utensils, difficult to find for ordering, pouring our own wine all tend to add up and really should not happen.

This location is enjoyable and the people friendly, so I think it is worth a try. I'd like to try the Sunday brunch some time.

“Relaxing place to eat”
Reviewed November 11, 2013

Hi, I love Chart House restaurants, so was eager to try this one in Miami. There was ample parking, and the restaurant is on the water. We decided to eat outside, on the terrace overlooking the bay.

We had patio type furniture, and a nice view of the surroundings.

Our waitress could have been a little better. Just sayin'...however, there were always other servers checking our table, taking away plates, etc. We got a bottle of wine, and I had the seared tuna on top of mashed potatoes, which is amazing in any chart house you go to. Also I find that their raw oysters never disappoint...

All in all, I enjoyed this experience.

“Slow Service Does Not Compensate for a Great View”
Reviewed September 28, 2013

The view from the dining area is great, but the very slow service turned our business dinner into a very late night affair. While the restaurant was not crowded, it seemed to take forever for the server to attend to our table. The wine took a while and when my chowder arrived, it was barely warm. We were not sure if the kitchen was slow or it was our server. Our food was decent, but not great. One of the wine glasses smelled like it have been cleaned with bleach. Overall we were very disappointed.

“Birthday Bash!”
Reviewed September 10, 2013

Wasn't sure we would get last minute reservations, but were lucky. The restaurant was accommodating since we were celebrating a birthday-had the menu typed our with the birthday girl's name, allowed us to bring in our own cake. The service was outstanding and the food was exceptional. We would go back anytime.

“Good Miami Spice dinner”
Reviewed September 9, 2013

Visited a Saturday night for dinner, taking advantage of the Miami Spice month.
After reviewing the menu, we decided to order the Snapper Hemingway, which is a three course dinner (we chose Caesar salad, Snapper Hemingway and Lava cake (it was excellent!) We consulted with Roy the waiter/server about this choice and he suggested it. He was knowledgeable and he was right on the money.
This three course meal was $39.00, not including tip, taxes or drinks.
The view was fantastic, you can seat outside and the bar has a sunken design, which it gives it a different look (has one TV as well).
We had not visited the Chart house for a long time and were glad we did.
Shana the manager came to our table to follow up on our experience.
