“Simple and FUN!!”
Reviewed March 24, 2014

These bikes are so simple and affordable! You don't have to deal with anyone, just a machine and have your debit or credit card to pay. Several time limits to choose from and you can return them to any deco bike stand and doesn't have to be the one you took it from which makes it simple for a mode of transportation to a destination or for a round trip back to the same stand. I will say take wipes with you to clean the basket and handlebars as well as the seat and any where you might touch because i'm not sure how often they are cleaned. Plenty of bike riding paths that are shared with pedestrians as well so you do have to be courteous while you ride. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves riding in the Miami sunshine and got some exercise? Can't beat that!!

“Enjoyable way to get around”
Reviewed March 14, 2014

We very much enjoyed the DecoBikes but there is a bit of an art to it. Like biking in any community, you want to avoid the busy streets as much as possible. Take a day to get oriented, walk around a bit (enjoyable in South Beach), and learn which streets have bike lanes and which streets are busy. Adjust the bike seat before you start the rental, have a back up location in mind for the return, and allow a few extra minutes. As others have mentioned, all bike docks might be full especially if you're riding to a popular destination.

Our bikes were in good repair and easy to peddle. We bobbled something on our return trip and were charged for extra rentals but a quick phone call cleared everything up. All in all, it was a good time and a fun experience.

“Very convenient, a little expensive.”
Reviewed February 20, 2014

My wife and I rented deco bikes on two occasions. Pretty easy to do, insert credit card and follow instructions carefully. When we went to return the bikes one time there were no spaces left for me to dock my bike. Make sure you leave yourself about five minutes to get to the next docking station to avoid extra charges. I found a deco bike not docked, and promptly docked it. Make sure that your bike is completely docked or you could pay extra charges or even pay for a new bike if it gets stolen. When we got home we found that Decobike charged us for a rental we didn't do. They ended up removing the charge. I do recommend Decobike. The bikes are easy to ride and there are many stations, at least in Miami Beach.

“The Way to Travel”

Renting bikes was the ticket. Easy to access, rode on sidewalks, and bike lanes. Miami is so flat it's not exhausting. Best value. Kept ours for 4 hours.

The first 3 stations we attempted to rent from had either broken bikes or the actual computer c didn't work to rent. Once we found one, hours later, we enjoyed exploring SOBE at our leisure.
