Great variety of foods and the selections look amazing but not all the time you get what you pay for. I don't recommend it. The pizzas are great and that you will always find good everything else is by luck.

There is a huge variety of food you can eat. There are two options: choose what you want from the hot and cold buffet and weigh by the pound or have a piece of pizza, which I did.
Maybe it is expensive, but Aventura Mall is not cheap.

Sbarro was founded in 1956 by Gennaro and Carmela Sbarro. The couple and their three sons, Joseph, Mario, and Anthony emigrated to America from Naples. That year, the Sbarro's opened their first Italian grocery shop in Brooklyn, New York, which became popular for its fresh food. We went to Sbarro fast food restautant in Aventura Mall, Miami a couple of times for lunch. The hot and cold buffet is the best option if you want to keep you stomach full until dinner time. The choice was good and it seemed that the food was more continental than Italian:- grilled chicken in orange sauce, plain grilled chicken, vegetable pilaf, plain steamed rice; fish stew; grilled prawns in sauce; chunky Greek style salad, cooked vegetables; pasta; fruit salad; sliced garlic bread and more. You put on a plate what you fancy eating then take it to the counter where it is weighed by the pound ($9 per head). Not cheap if it costs £10 for a plate containing a piece of grilled chicken, pilaf and chunky salad. Nevertheless it was quite filling.

Visited on a Sat afternoon in June. Cheap compared to other restaurants in this mall, but expensive for average Sbarro. Very busy, but moved quickly. Buffet good price and well stocked. Seating tight.

This restaurant charges by the pound weight of food. Lots of salads, pasta and rice. All cut in big chunks, perhaps because it is a weight based restaurant. Good value at around $9 per head.
