I have taken many foreign students to this location. Yes, of course, never did they expect such an array of different choices! The selection is mesmerizing delicious and one would want to try it all once one had a first choice. It looks like a market; you can hear the orders in Cuban Spanish; you can smell the aromatic rice and beans not to say the delicious pork...
The sound of the whirling blender only makes you thirstier as you wait for a fresh fruit blend. Of course, you do not dare order coke or sprite (it could be easier) .. but > that would be a deadly sin when what surrounds you are fresh mangos, guanabanas, papayas, coconuts...who would dare?
Healthy? No!
Cuban? yes! In Little Havana, Miami
Take a chance to feel the heat, vibrant locals, and tasty food.

Overall THE BEST CUBAN food I have ever eaten. Whenever I come Miami, I make sure to stop at this amazing, down to earth, Cuban style restaurant. The food is AMAZING. Great selection of Cuban entrees that change everyday. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want Cuban food. The downside, tHey DONT speak English.

We only had a chance to try the tostones, maduros, plantain chips, chicharon and some of the juices (mango, cantaloupe, papaya) but all were delicious and fresh. There is a huge selection of authentic Cuban dishes (rice, meats, stews) all at very reasonable prices. There is a guy selling something similar to coconut - he cuts it open and puts a straw in it (this did not taste good at all but looked interesting). Seems like a place where the locals stop by for a quick bite on their way to work. Kind of like a street fair atmosphere.

This location is close to the airport. We went there to check it out as soon as we arrived in Miami.
It looks very authentic and popular among Latinos. We tried the lechon (pork meat), with fried yuca, sweet potato and rice&beans. Everything was delicious. The meat was moist and very tasty.
The portions are huge. For 2 meals we paid $22.
We also tried the jugos (natural juices) but unfortunately they already come with sugar and they are a little too sweet for our taste. If you are into Latin food, you should try it. It's a great food experience.

The fresh juice of all different varieties was cheap and great. Go for that, and sit out back and watch a game. The food was good, but not great, and reasonably priced.
