Great blend of Meditteranean and Asian cuisine, with romanitc views overlooking the bay. Great selection of wines. Had a few Martinis afer our meal. Great place to take your better half.

After a disappointing experience at Area 31, we thought we would treat ourselves to Christmas dinner at Azul. Right upon arriving you notice that the service staff is attentive to your needs. Whether refilling your drink or getting extra bread etc, you never had to ask, the service staff already knew what you needed. The food was extraordinary. We had the Hawaiian Tuna Poké to start and it just melts in your mouth and you don’t want it to run out. Then we had one pork dish and one lamb rack dish and both were very delicious. The view in the evening was spectacular and we are excited to return again, this time in the daylight to sit on the terrace outside. The view into the kitchen as well as the overall design of the restaurant is very interesting and gives an exclusive feeling. Definitely a recommend when in Miami!

I thought the food was great. Yes, the portions are small however some dishes are quite strong in flavor so you wouldn't want a large serving. I also like to try a few different dishes, so we had an appetizer, main and shared dessert and left feeling comfortable but not too full. Contrary to other reviews, I found the service a little over the top. We had about 4 different servers attending to our table (there was 2 of us dining...), asking how everything was multiple times throughout the meal often while we were mid conversation or had our mouths full. I appreciated their effort although it did get a little annoying at times.
The location is great - right on Brickell Key overlooking Miami's financial district.
