Uh-oh. USA Today named Panther Coffee one of the top 20 coffee shops in the country in June 2014. That might be a stretch, but this place is definitely on the radar for unique style and quality coffee. The shop anchors the industrial, revitalized Wynwood District. On a Sunday, there will be many bikes out front and many more visitors with cameras. There are only a few places to sit indoors, but the real enjoyment is outdoors anyway. Day and night, tables are crafted to surround the trees on a small patio, open to Second Avenue. At night, neon beckons from above and party lights circle bicycle wheels hung in branches above the tables. Coffee is robust and so are the patrons. Expect service to be glacially slow, and lines long but patient.

Its like being in new york. The atmosphere is creative, the people are unique, conversations come out of nowhere and the coffeee is strong and good. You can grab a bite to eat and sometimes the have a live band, or small events happening during the week! Its a great place if you need to send some emails, spend the day working or just brainstorming.

I love a good coffee house, especially when they roast their own beans. Let alone, when great music is piped through the walls, I enjoy it even better. This had both of these, however, the staff was trying the hipster thing a little too much. I'm one for talking coffee and music, but you don't have to be so abstract to be so unique.

We stopped in here for a break during our visit to the Wynwood Walls (street art/graffiti). It was really good, the pastries were good and the staff was friendly. It was decorated nice and had a real neat and eclectic/modern vibe. It was pricey though ($4 for a cookie), but it was at least a good $4 cookie! Would go again; I recommend it!
