Description: Located at 100 Chopin Plaza, Toro Toro is celebrated chef/restaurateur Richard Sandoval's creative Pan-Latin interpretation of a contemporary steakhouse. This sophisticated and sexy concept is modeled after Sandoval's Dubai Toro Toro, which was named "Best Latin" and "Best New Restaurant" by Time Out. The restaurant's selection of meats, carved tableside rodizio-style, along with an array of small plates, composed main-plates and a la carte steaks draws foodies while Toro Toro's buzz-worthy bar, emphasizing Latin-inspired cocktails made with ultra-premium Latin spirits and a well-curated collection of fine wines from around the world, draws the cocktail crowd.

“Excellent!”
Reviewed March 28, 2013 via mobile

Me and my husband had brunch here couple of days ago and had absolutely wonderful experience. The combination of small plates with well prepared meats, and unlimited cocktails made for memorable Sunday. We couldn't really pick our favorite dish. The quality of the food and overall value is just unbeatable. Our server Matej was very friendly yet professional and assisted us with choosing the right dishes that suited our taste. The only thing missing on the menu is a dessert. I definitely recommend the brunch for any foodies living or visiting Miami.

Dear Camerefamily,

Thank you for the excellent review and the recommendation! We are so ecstatic that you joined us for Sunday brunch. We are glad to have been able to provide a memorable experience. Nothing's better than unlimited cocktails and grilled meats. We couldn't agree more, it's so hard to pick just one favorite dish. We will make sure to let the entire team know that they contributed to a great experience. Our brunch is also available on Saturdays, too. We look forward to seeing you next Sunday.

“Excellent Retaurant for a Special Celebration”
Reviewed March 17, 2013

I celebrated recently my mother 60th birthday at Toro Toro, and it was an experience much better than I thought possible. My father and I visited over 20 restaurants in the Miami area, looking for the special place, and only Toro Toro was receptive and very accomodating. Our celebration was done in a mini banquet hall at the end of the restaurant, very private. We were allowed a Mariachi (it was not allowed at the other locations) and a comedian that entertained for about two hours. Even though they have a decent wine selection, we were allowed to bring our own wine and champagne for a $25.00 per bottle. The food was amazing and they made a cake for our special celebration. The person in charge of the event, Chermarie, was very nice and very professional, especially with my father, who wanted a special celebration for my mother and our guests. Our experience was excellent, beyond words. There is no place in Miami, that would give you more for what you pay.

Wow, thank you for the exceptional review. We are so glad that you spent one of life's memorable events with us at Toro Toro and we are even more thrilled that we were able to make it a fantastic experience. We will make sure to let Chermarie, along with the rest of the team know that they contributed to a memorable evening. Indeed, the lounge area at Toro Toro is especially great for small and intimate groups and most requests can be accommodated. Again, thank you for the great comments and recommendation. We look forward to hosting many more great events and please let us know if we may be of any assistance in planning a future reservation, as well.

“What a delight!”
Reviewed March 15, 2013

I am spreading the word about the new hidden gem in downtown Miami. I will cut straight to the chase. Delicious food, elegant, yet laid back ambiance, fantastic service, and some of the best cocktails I have ever tried. Signature drink "negrita" tastes as good as it looks, and "Ring my bell" tastes even better than it looks. Who would ever though that cocktail with bell peppers and rosemary could be this delicious? Small plates were very creative and absolutely delicious. We had swordfish dip, empanadas, sea scallops, and lamb skewers. For main course we shared the churrasco skewer. 20 ounces of fantastic meat served with house-made barbecue sauce, grilled asparagus, and asian style fried rice left me and my friends more than satisfied. We shared churros for dessert, and as Miami native I must say that they were on the better side. Our server, Matj was very charming, attentive, and funny, as was bar manager Matt. To sum it up, we had great experience. Looking forward to a next visit, probably for some more of their delicious drinks.

“Great small bites”
Reviewed March 15, 2013

Full menu is available in the bar and it's a lot faster than sitting in the restaurant. The beef empanadas were fabulous, maybe the best I've ever had. The bar is a bit dark and there's no view but it's big and you can usually find a table.

“Great lunch at Toro Toro!”
Reviewed March 14, 2013

I was very impressed with the new look of the restaurant and the superb menu. I dined there with my colleagues on more than one occasion and I love the slow roasted chicken salad. The flavors in this mixed green salad are very well complimented by the pecans and sliced oranges together with the ginger vinaigrette. The "arepas" (corn cake) appetizer is also to die for with the shredded short rib, guacamole and crema fresca on top. The butternut squash soup is also delicious on a cool day. Overall, I will return as I definitely have to try all of their other Pan Latin cuisine offerings.

Dear oyebeli,

We love our repeat guests and reading their comments. Indeed, the arepas are "to die for"; they are one of our guest favorites. We love it all and can't decide on our favorite, but it is easy to try a little bit of everything with our small plates menu. We highly recommend our Brunch with Bravado on Sundays from 11:30 am - 3 pm. We look forward to being your home away from home and please let us know if we may be of any assistance in booking a future reservation. We can host events in our lounge, too.
