Description: Located at 100 Chopin Plaza, Toro Toro is celebrated chef/restaurateur Richard Sandoval's creative Pan-Latin interpretation of a contemporary steakhouse. This sophisticated and sexy concept is modeled after Sandoval's Dubai Toro Toro, which was named "Best Latin" and "Best New Restaurant" by Time Out. The restaurant's selection of meats, carved tableside rodizio-style, along with an array of small plates, composed main-plates and a la carte steaks draws foodies while Toro Toro's buzz-worthy bar, emphasizing Latin-inspired cocktails made with ultra-premium Latin spirits and a well-curated collection of fine wines from around the world, draws the cocktail crowd.

“Excellent Grilled Meats and Sides”
Reviewed February 26, 2013

We were staying at the Intercontinental Hotel, where this restaurant is located, so we decided to give it a try. The Churrasco Skewer for 2 came with ample servings of two kinds of steak, chorizo sausage, chicken and lamb chops--all delicious. The two sides we picked were Peruvian style chifa fried rice (some of the best fried rice we have ever eaten) and the sauteed broccolini and asparagus combo was quite good. Top this off with their delicious rolls served with salsa--unusual but tasty. The service was superb and friendly, and the prices were reasonable. We'll be back the next time we're in downtown Miami.

Dear taxatty,

Thank you for the excellent review. The Churrasco Skewer for 2 is an endless feast, with so much food, it's a steal. The rolls are pan de bono and they are a hit with all of Toro Toro guests, unique and tasty. Again, thank you for the great compliments on our food and friendly service. We are glad to know that you will be back and look forward to being your 'go to' restaurant in downtown Miami. We highly suggest our "Brunch with Bravado" on Sundays from 11:30 am - 3:00 pm.

“Really good food!”
Reviewed February 24, 2013

We decided to check this place out and were pleasantly suprised, in a town not known for its service, we were greeted promptly and our server was very friendly and made some great suggestions. We ate a variety of tapas from hierloom tomato burrata to grilled octopus and evey one was excellent. We finished off with a Brazilian style meat fest, accompanied with a Chifa ( Peruvian style fried rice ) which was the best ive ever had. Leave room for dessert!

“Great Steak and Seafood”
Reviewed February 22, 2013 via mobile

The grilled steak and fish was amazing. The open fired wood grill provided amazing flavor and Chef Sandoval sauces were amazing! The bread that is service before entree is to die for! It comes with a diced tomato salsa or more like a bruschetta. You can't get enough of them! Great design and feel and my wife and I loved the service.
