I was a little worries at first because of the location but once you're inside it's a whole new world. They made me feel like a princess. The elevator switching was confusing at first but became very similar over time. It was luxury service from the valet to room service. They even brought the ice by request. They answers your every beck and call which I suggest u keep cash at hand for tipping. Our bags were brought to our room for us and things were hung and laid out. I loved it. My only little complaint were that all of the light fixtures didn't work. I had their interpretation of a king size bed, I felt the bathroom was bigger than the sleeping space but still two thumbs up

I just checked out the hotel and I really felt the need to write my review because of my disappoointment. I visited Miami several times and for one reason or another I was never able to book a room at the Conrad, a place where I really wanted to stay given the numerous positive reviews I heard about it. The lobby looks very nice, but as soon as you walk out of the elevator at your floor, the hotel starts showing its age. The rooms are small, a bit run down and the bathrooms show their age also The personnel is the best aspect of the hotel, as they are all very kind, professional and amazing, but everything else was not as I expected. Basically, the hotel needs to be renovated if they want to keep charging a minimum of $300 per night. The pool area is not attractive and so the gym. I stayed for the same price at the Viceroy, Marriott Marquis, Epic and Four Seasons, all on Brickell and the difference is huge. The Conrad, as it is today is nothing more than an average Hilton, a good brand, but neither sleek nor trendy.

i stayed at the conrad for a week, the hotel was very clean rooms were big enough for the two of us, i heard from other reviews that there was no coffie machine or the tv was old, well our room had a coffie machine and a big plasma, and i paid for the normal room.
if you don't want to rent a car here are some tips to go around miami:
the hotel is in down town miami so there is not a lot of stuff to do around the hotel, but there is a metromover station just acroos the street that you can use (FREE) to go aroune the center of miami you can go to bayside market where you can find a lot of resturants, ( chills, hooters, hardrock cafe, the knife....) i liked the kinife wich is an argentnian steakhouse type buffet where you can have lunch for 20$ bottle of wine& dessert included and dinner for 26 $, they have a great slad bar .
if you want to go to south beach you can take a taxi that will cost you about 25$, or if you have time you can take a bus just in front of bayside you have to take the S line it will cost 2$ per person, and will take you abou 30 min ,you can go down at alton st. and lincoln, where you will walk through lincoln shopping strreet where you can find alot of resturants and shops, i realy love sushi so i went to this place it,s called DORAKU it was really great sushi, it will cost you for 2 person about 60$ try the tuna and avocado salad really great .

we arrived in our rental car, a Ford Focus. As we pulled in to check out our parking options, a valet dude yells at me to move my car so that a hummer limosine can come in. It's not like the hummer didn't have the room. i parked and waited for valet and this mofo starts to complain to me that i can't leave my car there cuz other car (the limosine) can't get in. it's after that we told the dude that we were gonna valet park that he finally shut up. it costs 37$ plust tax and some other BS charge that actually comes out to 50$ a day. Room and Bathroom is actually nice. Had hard time sleeping when rain fell cuz rain drops hitting on the metal frame of the building made large ringing noises. getting in a out of building is a little hassle. over all good experience but boy parking dudes, unless u drive in there with a tux and minimum of bmw, hew, man, never felt so ignored with a rental car before. well but than i was wearing hoodie, shorts, and a running shoe. guess valet parkers thought we didn't belong there huh. other than that we had no problem getting our cars in and out of valet. only problem, if u tip them everytime u pull ur car out i think it can get well over 50$ a day. oh yeah, i was double charged on the last day, which was solve w/out incident. If i didn't look over charges, i probably paid that extra charge. i don't know, maybe they like to sneak one in there hey. maybe i'm complaining because i've never had to pay that much for a parking in a hotel like this. so if u r an average Joe wanting to experience "4 star" hotel, this may not be ur best choice.

Absolute tops. We spent two days in Conrad Hilton Miami for holiday and loved it very much. Hotelrooms are great, and staff very friendly. On the minor points: the parking charge of $37/day is high and if you are looking for miami-beach fun, that is still some way off. But generally we would advise this hotel to anyone!

Stayed here for 2 nights for business purposes, and everything was great. The room was big, bathroom was spacious. I was upgraded to a Bay view which was very nice. However, if you are staying here for leisure, downtown area is just empty, and you would have to go to other areas (South Beach, etc.) to get some fun. Other than the location, this is a great hotel (and a bit expensive, I might add).

Business traveler's suitcase was left with the front desk because the room was not ready when he checked in. Returned to find that his iPad and cufflinks (including several extremely sentimental ones) were gone.
