“Beautiful stadium”
Reviewed May 7, 2013

Love this stadium. it is truly a signt to see, with its goegeous view of the city. It's a Miami-style ballpark complete with a pool, and a nightclub style bar. Now all we need is a baseball team. :-(

“An enjoyable evening at a baseball game”
Reviewed May 4, 2013

I attended a Marlins game while they were playing the Chicago Cubs. While both teams are bad, it did make for a good game. The stadium was built in 2012 so there were was still the newness feeling to it. It is one of the smaller parks size when it comes to seating, but given the team and location it is probably the right size. Getting to the stadium is easy by both public transportation or by driving to. Just be wary that exiting the park and the area will take awhile regardless of the attendance at the game.

I got to the ballpark early to walk around and enjoy the sites. There is a bobble head museum by the home plate entrance. There are bobble heads from every major league team. It is a fun way to spend a minute or two. One of the things that I was looking forward to was the two aquariums. However I didn't realize that they were on the playing field level behind home plate, so you don't really get to see anything.

I was seated in the field level reserved area. The usher ensured that everyone in the section actually belonged there and provided details on where the closest bathrooms and best food options were. He even moved people around so that they could remain as a group, which I thought was nice. This was not the case with all of the ushers so I was lucky.

There is the usual ballpark fare of hot dogs, hamburgers and such. However I would recommend trying some Cuban fare at one of the restaurants around the park. Prices are what you'd expect for Miami and at a professional game - expensive. Also if you want decent beer than the cheap American brands that you get at the stands, there are stalls that sell good beer. Its worth the exercise walking around anyways.

The views from the seats of the action is good throughout the park. The roof was open while I was there which allowed for a comfortable climate. If you are a fan of baseball and looking at going to different parks, Miami Ballpark is definitely worth visiting. Just don't plan on the home team winning!

“great fun even if you dont like baseball”
Reviewed May 2, 2013

Husband wanted to go to a game - I didnt but am glad we went. The stadium is air conditioned and it was really quite cold inside! Its real razzamatazz with music, dancers, hot dogs, beer, generally lots of fun - and the Marlins won. Beware, beers are $10.50 and everything inside is expensive but its still a fun night out.

“Love This Ballpark”
Reviewed April 30, 2013

Saw the Marlins take on the Nationals at Marlins Park and love seeing games here. Ultra modern stadium with some very nice touches. The retractable roof is a must given the unpredictable Florida weather. Used mass transit to get to the ballpark and it was fairly easy. Shuttle trolley is right next to the Metro Rail Civic Center station and arrived within minutes. Was dropped at the Stadium in less than 10 minutes. Love the Taste of Miami - the Cuban sandwich is excellent though expensive but comparable in price to other MLB Stadium concessions. Can't wait for my next game at Marlins Park. Go Marlins!!!

“Nice place lousy team!”
Reviewed April 30, 2013

Loved the new ballpark, easy parking at the HomePlate Garage.
Clean, great seats, easy to walk around. Food pricey as any major league park.Too bad the owner sold all the good players and they are left with a glorified Triple A team! But a lovely park!
