We were a group of 6, the location, table, overall experience was comfortable, relaxed, family friendly; the ambiance was indeed pretty good, what the comment from all 6 was and we were unanimously blown away was the food. even the service was excellent.
This is not your usual Peruvian food period, the door greets you with a smile form the restaurant personnel (not a professional hostess) so the smile count as double.
once situated and comfy started ordering the initial appetizers we order a few so we can all taste and try, from "causa rellena" to Octopus in olive sauce and even ceviche on olive sauce etc. etc. all tasted like it came out of a presentation of nuveau cuisine . . . absolutely impeccable aesthetics, the combination of traditional dishes with a new approach, a distinct palette of flavors and colors and the classic flare and "fire" of the Peruvian cuisine.
This my friends was a real treat; then the entrees came, Chaufa de Mariscos an the other dishes excelled in the aroma that wakes up the primordial instinct of a hungry bear (that's me :) . . . ) the the finesse, aromas and suave palate of the fresh seafood, inspired by chefs, prepared for Royalty.
the attention to detail was second to none. my compliments to the management.
The seafood flavors was never overpowered by seasonings, in fact it complemented so well, it felt like a concert of taste timbres and decades that were executed in a manner that could be absorbed like a symphonic partiture, the nuances of flavor would dance in your mind and your senses, each dish complemented your inner need for that special moment that brings you back to your inner child . . .
The deserts are something so special, so distinct, so particularly seductive can i call it sexy??? better keep it PG rating . . . :)
Well, it's that good!!!!, and if you don't believe me, go and try for yourself.
A very big word of caution . . . . . it causes addiction!!!
You have been warned. now taste at your own risk.
all the best recommendation for this place as it surely deserves it.
While you're at it. order a bottle of "chicha" you hate it or you love it . . if it turns out to be the latter, you're hooked for life.
