Located just off Krome in the Redlands, Pueblito Paisa is an adorable open air restaurant with lots of charm and amazing food. It's nothing fancy, more like a barn than a restaurant, but the owners are very friendly, the prices are reasonable and the food is delicious. They have at least 15 types of milkshakes, homemade key lime pie and lots of Colombian delicacies: bandeja paisa, empanadas, pandebono, chorizo, arepas, fried fish, patacones and in the winter months, sancocho de gallina (which they begin serving in November). Prices range from just a couple dollars to about $10 for the bandeja paisa or fried fish.
The restaurant is situated on a small working farm, complete with a gaggle of geese (they are the guard-geese of the farm, watch your children with them!), lots of hens, a few peacocks and even a bunny that roams freely.
This is a great place for an afternoon with the family, a date or just a quick snack if in the area.
