I suppose we weren't cool enough to be there, which was indicated by the very young hostess when we arrived, asking us if we had a reservation even though there were only a few tables filled. We asked to be seated outside and she found us a small table in a corner where only the waiter would know we were there. The food was average (my rolled pasta the wrong side of al dente, the braised duck wildly over salted (and I like salt) and all of it terribly overpriced. I've had much, much better.

The wine menu was vast but we had trouble getting a bottle that we wanted - it seemed odd that they had many wines unavailable because they were not chilled - ummm - we were there around 6:30 - how many people could have ordered white wine or prosecco before we arrived? The more expensive options, of course, were available....

The waiter was generally attentive but would run off whenever a regular showed up, leaving us to wait...the only person who deserves a mention was the bus boy - attentive, kind, quick to ensure we had what we needed. The final insult - the cheque arrived and the area calculating the gratuity at different levels (starting at 18%) had been highlighted and starred.

As I said, perhaps we weren't cool enough to pay a couple of hundred dollars for a so so meal...

Our son said we must celebrate his birthday at Toscana; and we did. Great atmosphere, ambiance and service. Impressive wine list and creative wine cellar. We three enjoyed immensely. Our second visit to this restaurant. Food presentation attractively done; quality of food superb (I am Italian). Great place to relax and enjoy a meal. Our server, Rafael, was very attentive, friendly and welcoming.

A bit disappointed. Waitstaff great and attentive. Pasta fresh made. Selection very limited and food varied from excellent to utterly uninspired. For the price you can do better.

We ate here twice in January based on our experiences of last April. Both nights we had the fish special - one night it was Sea Bream and another Dorado. The Insalata Rucola was outstanding - we both loved it. The second night we had the Mushroom Soup, again excellent. If anything, the restaurant has improved in the last year.
Our server, Alessandro made both our meals very special. He is extremely efficient and very personable. He also knows a lot about wine and selected an Albarino one night and an Arneis the second. Very enjoyable.
We travel a lot and ate out the entire week in Miami. Liked it better than Azul's at the Mandarin where we stayed.

Celebrated a birthday at this location...inside The ambiance is interesting and they have what seems to appear as a wine 'vault' in the center of the restaurant. Food was good but not exceptional. The mushroom soup was good and my filet mignon was tasty as well. The oysters we ordered were basic as any other with tasty sauces. I also ordered a lychee martini which was Indeed, divino!! My husband ordered the halibut which was simply 'ok'. While the service was great, the food was average and the bill was very hefty!! I wouldn't say I'd return.
