We stopped at this restaurant on our bike ride, it had a nice atmosphere as there was a large party eating. The waitress was very friendly and recommended dishes to us. We a several dishes to share and the best was the pork which was deep fries but you good shred it , it was delicious. The service was quick and the food was good value. This restaurant was a great way to sample Cuban food.

El Pub's chilindron de cordero, a lamb dish, brought memories of a similar French dish my grandmother used to do. The place is owned by a mom and pap, family team or so I understand. Certainly, this is as close to home cooking as a restaurant can get, for me at least. It was just incredible and thoroughly unexpected to find this dish. I do not even remember the French name for this dish, but the taste was exactly the same, thoroughly authentic, and absolutely delicious. Portions are very large too. Sides include plantains (not in France), black beans and rice. The service was very nice and efficient, there when we needed it. A group of 5, we all enjoyed our meals. And for me the experience was very special.

We went here for breakfast and got fresh eggs, sausage, potatoes and coffee for only $3.95!

The food was hot, fresh, the service was quick and the better than the $50 breakfast we had on South Beach the day before which was pretty much the same thing.

We spent an afternoon exploring Little Havana, a culturally rich part of Miami. We observed cigar making and a large group of Cubans playing dominoes. For lunch we decided to try El Pub Restaurant, and we were not disappointed. The waitresses were conversing jovially in Spanish. Ours was very attentive and super friendly. The food was absolutely delicious and not much more expensive than American fast food. Fried plantain chips are a must. The locals eat here and hang out. We highly recommend this quaint little place in the heart of Little Havana.
