“Authentic Cuban cuisine, affordably prices”
Reviewed April 18, 2013

We spent an afternoon exploring Little Havana, a culturally rich part of Miami. We observed cigar making and a large group of Cubans playing dominoes. For lunch we decided to try El Pub Restaurant, and we were not disappointed. The waitresses were conversing jovially in Spanish. Ours was very attentive and super friendly. The food was absolutely delicious and not much more expensive than American fast food. Fried plantain chips are a must. The locals eat here and hang out. We highly recommend this quaint little place in the heart of Little Havana.

“real cuban atmosphere”
Reviewed April 15, 2013

Even if it s not in our old version of the french guide, it was worth stopping by. Don t expect fancy service, beautiful tables or great service. It s all about the Cuban atmosphere, with delicious food and nice people.
By the way, the bill was really affordable too.
will go back without a doubt.

“El Pub in. Little Havana”
Reviewed February 27, 2013

We took the Big Bus Tour and decided to get off at Little Havana for some lunch we were recommended to dine at El Pub. It's a local family restaurant and exactly what we wanted.
Very casual restaurant and such reasonable prices on the menu. Waitress was friendly & helpful.
(Stop 20 on bus trip) after lunch we walked around and checked out the many cigar stores, Domino Park and Azucar a great ice cream shop.

“Authentic Comida Cubana”
Reviewed January 26, 2013 via mobile

My husband and I were lucky enough to spend a weekend in Miami after a cruise and have the amazing opportunity to attend a Cultural Friday in Little Havana. This is the restaurant that the event's tour guide (a Dade County sociology professor) suggests we tourists go for authentic Cuban food.

The food was amazing! We did nothing but compliment and swoon each bite. We had the black bean soup, Moro, tamale, sweet plantains, mashed plantains, yucca, and cafe cubano - all for $20.50. The portions were huge and we are having the rest for lunch and dinner today!

It was busy and we did have to wait a bit for service, but I would trade the snobby, corporate downtown attitude for the genuine kindness of Little Havana any day. Once the owner noticed we were waiting he showered us with service and welcome. Our server was so cheerful and told how to eat our food like Cubanos do. After just one visit we feel like family.

“Good Cuban food option in Little Havana”
Reviewed December 28, 2012 via mobile

We stopped here during the cultural Friday event in Little Havana, needless to say most restaurants in the area were packed. We seated ourselves and had to wait for menus to become available. They had a limited number of menus and they were all being used by other customers. The waitresses couldn't keep track if we had been served yet, but at least they were asking. It's unfortunate I've lowered my customer service expectations when visiting Miami. They did bring the table bread out right away and the waitresses and staff were all nice. The black bean soup was good. Overall, the food was okay and I would visit again if I visit Little Havana again.
