“Authentic Greek food”
Reviewed March 6, 2013 via mobile

We really enjoyed this restaurant- starting with the mezedes -appetizers- the keftedes-meatballs delicious - the fried zucchini chips- hand cut Greek fries - the octopus also delicious - a large Greek salad to share- the tomatoes so ripe and tasty- all entrees are worth trying - has a nice reasonable wine list - and the Greek beer- mythos- leave room for dessert- try the loukoumades- if they have them!!!! All around a very enjoyable experience!!

“Yummy!”
Reviewed February 25, 2013

This restaurant is beautifully designed. The atmosphere is fun and the service was great. They are now offering a happy hour everyday from 4-7 with 1/2 appetizers and reduced price cocktails and wine/beer. It's a great way to try a new place without too much commitment. For us, it was just enough to know we can't wait to come back.

Start off with a specialty cocktail like the Greek Salad - it's delicious and refreshing. We shared a few appetizers and they were tasty. The owners seem to want to play with flavor profiles and for one particular dish it didn't work. The tirokafteri doesn't seem to know what it is - although it has a nice kick of heat.

The bartender was extremely friendly and only too happy to make recommendations. We will definitely be coming back to pay him a visit!

“Great for entertaining”
Reviewed February 18, 2013

As you would expect from a Greek restaurant the ambience is fun and friendly, the food is fresh and delicious. We went with friends on Valentines and had a great time eating family style. This is a large restaurant and thankfully it was very busy. Often when you go early it is too empty. It seems to get busy late as is the tradition in Greece. Well worth a visit and I think better food and value than Mandolin.

“New York level cuisine in Miami”
Reviewed February 16, 2013

We were recommended by friends to try the restaurant. We eat out frequently in manhattan and consider ourselves knowledgable about restaurants
The atmosphere is very warm and acoustic was not hindering conversation
The service was of the highest quality. The food was fresh and flavorful. We had grilled Bronzino that tasted like it was just caught
The owner came to the table and introduced himself and made us feel welcome
This restaurant will absolutely be a stop on our next visit to Miami
Try it and you won't be disappointed

“A Greek Gem”
Reviewed January 22, 2013

Just came back from another delicious dinner at Egg and Dart. To begin your meal be sure to try one of their specialty cocktails--all with interesting ingredients and unique flavors. We had a selection of appetizers rather than main courses and just shared them amongst the group along with two salads. The Greek salad was a perfect traditional salad with a generous slice of feta across the top. The Watermelon salad was a sweet/salty combo of olives, watermelon, strawberries and cheese. The salads are very large and perfect for sharing. The lamb sliders are "to die for" and the spanikopita was flakey and flavorful. The fried cheese pie with honey and sesame is a unique appetizer and could easily double as a dessert, but go ahead and enjoy it with your meal! All of the appetizers had good flavors and were freshly prepared. The service was friendly and attentive and the ambiance is pleasant. I have been to the restaurant a few times and each time I have been thrilled with everything I have tried. Good service, great food and reasonable prices! Definitely worth a visit!
