Food reasonably priced and of high quality. Owner is great. Can be missed on the street. Happy Hour every day.

Visited on Valentine's Day and the place was packed! Service took a little longer than expected, but you really can't hurry meals like this on the busiest restaurant day of the year. The locale isn't perfect, located on a strip mall on Biscayne Blvd, but at least there is plenty of parking. The best news is that the food is really wonderful. For starters, we stuck with the onion and leek soup. Both were perfect. The leek soup was velvety smooth and very subtle. We then had the beef provencal, which was like "butter" and the strip steak with fries and a salad. Both of these items I would order many times over. We can't wait to go back and order the other items on the menu. This is a very welcome addition to our neighborhood.
A charming neighborhood restaurant with food that is consistently tasty and fresh. The owner is from Marseille. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. When you would like to feel as if you are in France but not Paris, this is the place to visit for a delightful meal.
Forget Louis the whatever, La Cigale is a modern space with more of a "lounge" vibe than a place you might hear accordions. The owner is from Marseilles in the South, and this is reflected in the cuisine.
I began with a salade de chevre, very nice, which I followed with grilled shrimp "Provençale," prepared in a tasty seasoning, with a hint of anise. Was quite nice. The light, fluffy rice that came along was actually memorable. My friend had Salmon with ratatouille, and both were well prepared. The owner was very attentive on what was an admittely very slow rainy Tuesday, and he made very good suggestions about food parings. Portion size is on the European side, so do order that appetizer.....it will be good.
