Hello, I'm very sorry you feel that your Big Bus experience didn't meet your expectations. Due to it being Peak seaon in Miami and a High-Demand for our services we have a had a large volume of ridership. In response we have not only implemented our "Holiday Schedule" but we have also added extra buses in between to further accomadate our customers and raise our frequencies. Now our seats are limited and are first come first serve, so we do encourage our customers to arrive to the bus a few minutes earlier to find desired seating. We do appreciate you taking your time to leave your feedback as we look for opportunities to further improve. We value your opinion and hope you give us another shot when in Miami.

“Hop on Board for a Tour of Miami”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 28, 2012

The Big Bus Tour of Miami was a lot of fun, and our guide had a decent amount of information. I can't say it was the best bus tour I have been on, but I liked that the guide was a real person and not a recording. It was a cool, sunny day so sitting on top of the open roof bus was great. It went all over including Coconut Grove, Coral Gables, Little Havana, and other areas of Miami. There is a separate bus tour for South Beach and other Miami beaches, but we only did the city tour. You can hop on and off, but we decided just to ride and enjoy the sunshine and information. It made me realize I need to get down to Calle Ocho when I return to Miami. I think this is a solid way to see and learn about Miami.

“Hit and Miss on the guide”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 22, 2012

This is a great way to see Miami especially at the start of your holiday as you can work out where to go and spend more time. We did the 24 hour trip as we had plans for the following day, but with some planning it would be better to get the 48 hour deal if you can. We decided to take the tours and not really use the hop on hop off feature too much.
The first bus we picked up was disappointing and we thought we had wasted money as we had to sit downstairs and they have painted the outside so you cant see out of the windows, this was also an automated guide which is OK but as we found out no where near as good as the real person guides. The other issue with the first bus was the driver, he decided he wanted a 20 minute break at Little Havana and so we waited despite it being 30 minutes late. Again we discovered they do not work to time.

When we changed to the South Beach side we got a real person and she was FAB, very entertaining and full of knowledge.

It is a great way to get to know all the best bits but try to get a real person not the headset option if you can and sit upstairs or you see nothing

We are tourists from New York were grateful to our wonderful tour-guide. Unique combination of knowledge and emotions with sincere desire to share his love to the city of Miami - this is rare talent. We wish him ("Bo") all the best. Mikhail, Rina, Tamara and Roald
