“Paradise Tours - Such a waste of an afternoon in Miami.”
Review of Paradise Tours

Paradise Tours
Reviewed May 25, 2012

Oh goodness. "Mani Miami" was the name of our city tour guide of Paradise Tours and yikes. Low brow humor and bad jokes throughout the city tour. The city tour only allows you to get out once: Little Havana, and the rest of the tour is relatively uneventful so not worth your time.

Mani Miami told us he doesn't get a dime from Paradise Tours and lives off tips. Before getting off the bus, he would hold out his hand for his tip (sometimes even counting it in front of the person), and then would give you the ticket you needed for the boat tour. Afterwards, he was furious and we heard him complaining that he didn't make enough tips off our bus and was 'shorted'.

The boat ride was fun and fantastic. There was the offputting request for tips on the boat as well, but they did earn it by giving a great tour of the millionaries' homes.

this is a full day tour giving highlights of Miami but cant possibly cover all.We were picked up on Ocean Drive and taken to Calle Ocho and Little Havanna. This was an interesting experience and flavour of cuba , especially seeing the older guys with dominos. We travelled coral gables and thru coconut grove. We stopped at the Venitian Pool , which was a nice spot.
We were dropped off in Bayside to find lunch before boarding our Bay cruise , which lasted about 90 mins. We sailed passed Fisher Island and twice passed Star Island , with all the famous mansions.
We had good info along the way both on land and water. A good day.

Hi wanted to provide my recent experience with a Miami City and Boat Tour..we paid $75 each this also includes a Everglades Tour which I will provide a separate review on..

Our Tour was through Miami Adventure Tour..The Bus picked us up from our Hotel which was was great..the Driver does the Tour in Spanish and English however he spoke that fast you really could not fully understand what he was saying..The drive around the City he would point out features but you had to be quick to get a photo as he really doesn't slow down..You will stop at little Havanah which is just ok..

Look to be honest alot of this you could get a bus or Taxi or hire a car but apart from South Beach the Mall and Down town Miami doesn't offer many sites..

The Boat Tour goes for about 50minutes they show you property owned by the Rich and Famous again not much to see and if you don't get to see it your not missing much..Our Tour was ordinary which made it worse I hear Miami Tour are better to go with but they can't reall y change what you see which is fairly in interesting do save your money..

We signed up for a Miami City Tour at the South Beach Art Deco Center. it was supposed to be 4 hours with 3 30 minute stops. It was 2 hours with one 20 minute stop in Little Havana.
he stopped again for 20 minutes at Bayside to drop off and pickup other passengers and we waited on the bus. The commentary was devoid of any facts about Miami - population, history, ethnic makeup etc. he made up a lot of stories about houses that supposedly housed movie stars. he repeated things 3 or 4 rims both in English and Spanish. all he really talked about were luxury cars. I learned next to nothing about Miami.

Get the history of South Beach growth, hotels, landmarks, memorials. Stop in The Grove, Little Havana...the cruise portion covers Fisher Island. Get history (and dirt) on all island dwellers were the stars live...or could formerly afford!

Worth the money.
