this place is small less than 20 seats. It's a 3 piece band owner operated operation, two in the kitchen and the server/ host. They aim to please. eclectic menu, something for everyone. Good quality ingredients and all fresh. Decor is very creative and funky. Loved the duck pot stickers, salmon/ quinoa, steak stack, the pasta was truly fantastic, parpadelle with a pulled pork wow. some unique items like kangaroo carpacio. The service was very friendly but I think he could've used some help. like I said only 3 total people working total, he didn't really have the time to talk more about ingredients/ preparation which in such an intimate setting you might expect. overall great dining experience.

I'll skip the menu highlights-another TA gives a good idea about the 'Sexy Nibbles' to the 'Main Attractions.' Instead, I'll focus on what neMesis is not: pretentious, over priced, trendy, sleek or NYC chain owned. It's a small setup. Maybe ten tables plus a few seats for the single diner who stumbles by. Jeremiah and his Chef, along with another sole provide some of the best food we have had in the SoFla area. No jive, just a great\varied menu.
Compare this to Alexander Valley's Scopa in Healdsburg, CA, and you begin to get an idea of how creative the Chef is with her selections. We had the Tasting Menu, rec'd by my wife's BFF, who ate there a week prior. Steady, non-rear end kissing service, measured with a decent wine selection, a small venue, and your left analyzing how this venue could be in Miami...If your expecting to see or be seen, go elsewhere!

My daughter celebrated her birthday at this corner restaurant in downtown Miami. 20 people, friends and family, dined with a tasting menu, from duck to veal to lamb to... A couple run the place with an extra hand cooking hard and fast. Wine and beer and water, plain or sparkling, being offered as the meal progressed. A definite culinary experience to put on your list.

We shared 3 apps and an entree before the Eagles concert at AAA. Started with a charcuterie plate. Duck liver mousse with some jammy goodness mixed on top. It was like grandma's chopped liver gone crazy. I could eat a bucket of it. Absolutely delicious. Light and rich at the same time.

Next were fig braised duck potstickers, followed by incredible lamb bellies. We finished with melt in tour mouth octopus over kugel like frittatas.

Chef owner was friendly and hospitable as was rock and roll server. Very enjoyable experience. Highly recommended.
