Very quaint and casual atmosphere. The Rest. is located near the AA Arena where there are warehouses. From previous reviews, we read the area was sketchy so we took a drive early during the day to acquaint ourselves. The area isn't really sketchy, its just a bit desolate. neMesis is a small place maybe 25 covers at most. The kitchen is open and you can see the Chef/Owner put her finishing touches on EVERY plate. Her business partner and sous chef receives customers, seats them and takes the orders. The food was fantastic, we dined on the salmon and "stacked steak" dish which was delicious. My only observation is that the wine list is a bit short, which could very well be because space is limited and the attire was too casual to do justice to the great dishes being served. A little old school and we still like to dress a bit for dinner (no coats and tails, but at the very least a collared shirt). A must try while in Miami!

I've been here twice and it just gets better. Incredibly friendly staff, delectable food! The tasting menu at $50 is a steal for the size and quality of the food. Chef Micah is passionate and talented. Don't miss the hot Malta putting. Probably the best dessert I've ever had.

Eclectic World Cuisine does not fully define this amazing establishment. Nemesis is colorfully cozy, and located in the hotest club area of Downtown Miami. The cuisine is a fusion of exotic ingredients and traditional techniques creating marvelous dishes. The ostrich carpaccio, leek/fig/duck pot stickers and guava chile pork starters are incredible. This meal will leave you completely satiated. Fresh ingredients and intimate service. The wine list is varied and well priced. Reservations are a must. Foodies will be in ecstasy.

The neighborhood is a bit sketchy but once you park and enter Nemesis you forget about the surroundings. The staff was great and vet knowledgable. We got the tasting menu and let them choose everything even the wine. The food and the experience was amazing. The only bad thing was that we had theater tickets at 8:00 and could not stay longer. This is a must for any true foodie!!!

Trio of smart, funky and professional chef, sous chef and Jeramiah (host, sommelier, waiter, historian and menu guide) made our dinner a delight. Samoosas--flaky, gentle spices, and presented simply, along side delicious light duck dumplings to begin. A special of sweet/fragrant nicely spiced alligator ribs and a wonderfully cooked and presented ribeye (topped with a sunny side up duck egg and accompanied by home smoked lamb bacon) went extremely well with a wonderful South African wine selection. A fresh peach bread pudding topped off an exceptional meal. The fact that Frida, Nelson Mandela, Amy Winehouse, Ute Lemper and Kermit are all represented somehow on the walls, the joyful border of discarded neckties flying above the front window and the beautiful parasols gracing the ceiling made a wonderful dinner truly a unique experience. Well done!
