Description: Chef-Owner Alfredo Patino celebrates fresh local market approach with his "Roadside European Cuisine". In a cosmopolitan, industrious setting in Miami’s neighboring art district, bin no. 18 is a popular stop for pre- and post- Art Center shows and gallery walks. With its contemporary interpretation of casual meets chic, the European bistro explores a spectrum of artisan dishes composed with a purpose. Driven to present a true taste of the Riviera urban cuisine, Chef's weekend menus experiment with seasonal flavors to bring out the ones that tantalize us the most. The well-designed beer and wine bins boast a variety of juice that is top-ranked in quality and value. Hanging Chandeliers, concrete slabs over wine barrels serve as communal tables' ideal for sharing the cheese and charcuterie menus. We welcome you to sense a unique culinary art scene.

“Outstanding service and food”
Reviewed December 22, 2013

You might miss this narrow restaurant on your first pass up the street but it is one of the best tapas style restaurants we have been too. Our waiter and the owner were exceptionally helpful as we worked our way through the menu starting with the Clams and Chorizo and Duck Pate through the Seared Scallops and Fagottini Di Pere then finishing off with the Warm Figs 'Brule'. Three hours and a reasonably priced bottle of wine later we walked back to our hotel (Marriot Biscayne Bay 5min walk).

“Wonderful food!”
Reviewed December 20, 2013

We went with friends and had a great dinner. We had the lamb & feta meatballs - delicious, the pate - amazing, octopus plancha - very good. Wine was also good and reasonably priced. Can't wait to go back!

“Great pre-theater choice”
Reviewed December 15, 2013

This is a fantastic place, particularly for a pre-theater meal if you're visiting the Adrienne Arsht Center. Everything we had was good---my guess is you can't go wrong no matter what you order, and prices are reasonable. They have wonderful wine and cheese selections. Off the menu, I recommend the octopus salad for an appetizer, and for mains, the scallop entree or the artichoke-stuffed portabello. Truly, no one in my group had anything we didn't truly enjoy. Service is warm and friendly, and although the food is made to order, it doesn't take "forever" to come out. Decor is charming and casual. If you make a reservation (which you can even do on Open Table), you just might get the "nicest table in the restaurant" like we did. :) It's a little hard to find this place so just trust your GPS. They had a couple of tables outside, but I'm not sure I'd recommend that---inside dining seems best. Definitely, give this place a try and I don't think you'll be disappointed. Their Sunday brunch menu looked great, btw.

“Great tapas dinner”
Reviewed December 3, 2013 via mobile

This was a great meal and terrific service - something all too rare in Miami. Fresh warm bread came with chili oil (not spicy hot but flavorful and a welcome change) with balsamic vinegar. We had the figs as an appetizer and shared both portobella and a scallops dish. The scallops were possibly the best we ever had and we're scallop fans. The service was prompt, courteous and accurate. We'll be back.

“We love this place!”
Reviewed November 27, 2013

My husband and I have eaten at this restaurant about once a month for the past two years. I think we have had everything on the menu but definitely have our favorites. The wait staff - Gabby, Ruben and Alex - to name a few - are wonderful. The food is always fresh and the portions are the perfect size - not too big - just right. We love this neighborhood place and appreciate everything about it! Try it for yourself, you won't be sorry!
