Description: All orders, at Mi Vida, are made fresh to order with a view of the chef preparing your meal. Freshly pressed juices, smoothies ,daily specials and more avoiding the use of animal products, microwaves, frying, preservatives, genetically modified food and high fructose corn syrup. The cafe offers a very friendly, relaxed and casual environment. The indoor sitting area is not too big, but we can and do accommodate large parties upon reservation. There is outdoor sitting at the back and front of the restaurant. And there is parking at the back. Some friends have described the place as a tiny health heaven on a busy road. Located on one of Miami's main avenues, the cafe offers a break from the many fast food chains around town. Providing tasty vegan and raw cuisine using local and organic produce.

If you're into filling your stomach up to the throat until acid starts to burn there - walk by... it's not the place for you. This place is only if you understand and appreciate that every piece of food that you put in your mouth will end up being you... and that "you" will be the best you can be - free of junk, free of pollutants, free of toxins, free of carcinogens, free of commercial junk, free of cruelty and fake food. Mi Vida serve only food that nurtures your body and your soul and make you feel better and happier after you eat, not more tired or sleepy or having a heartburn and headache.
Yes, it's not cheap, but I'd rather invest into my own health responsibly by eating healthy and building my body brick by brick, strengthening every aspect of it including my immune system which will protect me unlike ignorant allopathic medicine with even more ignorant insurance companies that aren't really protecting your health.
YES, I will recommend this restaurant to everybody especially if you're young, smart, responsible and educated in simple subject "you are what you eat".

The owner is a cook there with one other cook and two wait staff. Noone watches the tables to see what is missing or what you need. After almost 20 minutes, we finally got someone to get one of the drinks, but one drink arrived midway through the meal and one at the end. The Quinoa burger was bland; the Sloppy Joe was sloppy, yes, but not tasty; and, the twin tacos were two little pieces of what looked like napkins which fell apart so that you could neither pick them up with your fingers or your fork. The "meat" in the tacos was overly salty and there was no salsa to top them so when combined with the juice (not bad) caused me to vomit repeatedly. The service was so disorganized that a guy at another table just begged for the owner to come up with any price willing to hand over a $100 bill just to get out of the place. Vegetarian food is not inexpensive and in this trendy area, it was not unexpected ($14 for a small quinoa burger with no bun for example), but definitely not worth the money or the waste of our time. EVeryone felt sick on the way out the door.

Mi Vida Cafe is incredibly disappointing. The restaurant is dirty. The owner is rude. Anyone who has ever had good vegan cuisine, can quickly taste that the food here falls short. Order the same dish twice and it will not taste the same. I've been here a handful of times, hoping that the food and service would improve. After my fifth visit, I decided to stop coming. It is sad that this place isn't any good.
