Owner description: Explore the everglades on a small airboat to see the wonders & beauty that it offers. Airboat in everglades, miami airboat rides, miami airboat tours, miami beach attractions, are here. Ride and Slide threw sawgrass, mangroves, apple pond trees and less than 6 inches of water. Located in Northern America, the Everglades of Florida is home to some of the world's most diverse animals and vegetation. The wetlands boast of shallow water bodies, great habitat and awesome scenery that helps you create memories. Having a tropical climate further aids the tourists in their endeavors. with the extent of water that is not easily navigable, a trip down the river of grass is quite impossible without the help of local guides and machines. We operate rain or shine Everglades operating locations may vary due to weather and animal sightings.

We're a family of 4 and have returned from a 10 day holiday in south florida. We turned up on spec at 17696 SW expecting a ticket hut or similar. Instead a very helpful lady appeared out of the garage shop, rang Captain bill for us and 5 minutes later we were on our way - only 2 minutes up the road to the launch area. This was totally devoid of anything other than the dock, his boat and his brother Rob. Rob took us out for an hour and it was by the far the best hour we had during our holiday. Rob was very knowledgeable about all the wildlife both plants and animals. We saw alligators from a few weeks old, to 3 years old to adult size. We loved the fact that their set up is totally non commercial, that the guys obviously love what they are doing and thoroughly engaged us through out the trip. I would recommend everyone takes their trip.

We enjoyed the experience, and the people were very nice. They were also very responsive. The boat had just 7 people which made it very comfortable compared to the larger boats. The only negative was time vs cost. For the cost I think it could be a bit longer.

This operation is first rate, communications through phone contact and e-mails were great. !!! First they make sure you have directions to the meeting site and if you'd like, they will even pick you up. You are met by very friendly knowledgable members of the team. You are then escorted to the drop in site. The ride with Captain John was filled with Everglades history, animal descriptions and ecosystem life. Seeing the alligators up close and learning more about them was a educational even for native floridians. Our guest from Iceland was thrilled with our surprise Airboat trip. We did the semi-private one hour trip and would highly recommend it.

Have ALWAYS wanted to ride in an airboat, and where better to "take the trip", than in the Everglades. After sifting through quite a few reviews, decided that we didn't want the group tour, loaded onto a boat with a bunch of other people and very limited is what most of the reviews reported. We wanted to take a private tour, and Airboat in Everglades had very high reviews, so we chose them.

TIP: Make sure you get specific directions on where to meet them, as they'll meet you in a gas station and will have you follow them to the launch site. I punched the address into my GPS and got lost. So follow their directions.

They met us, and we followed them to their boat, and off we went. Our Capt. Rob, was absolutely knowledgable about the Everglades, having lived on the water most of his life. He took us far and wide, down channels and across vast open spaces, sometimes almost flying with speed, and then barely creeping along, engine cut off and listening and observing. We saw plenty of alligators (from about 4 feet in size, down to maybe 2 foot youngsters); many different species of water birds; and even deer that graze in the water on plant life, and live on the many islands. All along, Capt. Rob was telling us what we were seeing and all about the life in the 'glades'. On our return to our launch point, we even got caught in a little afternoon downpour. We were qhickly supplied a rainproof covering by our Capt, and were able to stay pretty dry.

One last bit of advice, there were several tour lengths offered. We chose an hour and a half, and would recommend everyone to do the same. The time FLEW by, and before we knew it, it was done, but we were able to see and listen to so much by just spending a bit more and taking that extra half hour.

It was GREAT!
